I want you guys to know this shit not only makes my life better and easier, and consequently makes me like you more, but WAY MORE IMPORTANTLY could literally save someone's life.
Yes, eye strain sucks. Yes migraines are painful. Yes seizures are miserable. But every single epileptic seizure, to a very small but very much not zero degree, can just kill you. Seizures are horrible and dangerous - with aspiration and head trauma to take into account as well. Even if it's "not that much flashing" or it's "not that long" or "it's only a seizure" or whatever kind of excuse you may want to make - PLEASE think about photosensitive users when you interact with media

Rapid change between different colors
Rapid change between light and dark frames
Anything that causes the value of the screen to change very majorly very quickly
Anything very color intensive/stressful for the eyes
Needs to be tagged with things like "flashing lights" "strobing" "eye strain" etc - NOT tags such as "photosensitive" or "epilepsy" bc we use those tags for our community

btw because I haven’t seen any other warnings: if you are sensitive to flashing lights and planning on seeing the Hadestown proshot, there is some very brief flashing in Papers. The fullscreen flashing is only a few seconds and then it goes back to slower stage lights, but since it’s during an instrumental the best way I can think of to avoid it would be to avoid from the time Hades says, “What becomes of trespassers with no respect for property” to when the Fates start singing again.
If anyone who knows more about photosensitivity or has more specific memory of where the section is wants to chime in, please do! I just haven’t seen any mention of this yet
Have no clue if anyone is gonna see this But in the odessey movie there is a solid 5 minutes of flashing lights right after they leave the island (after the cows)

Flashing lights in Hadestown
The official Hadestown recording currently in US theaters has flashing lights that I had no warning were included. There is intense, white flashing a little after Hades tells the workers to attack Orpheus. I would guess there are three seconds of it meant to indicate chaos in the middle of the mock fight scene. You wouldn’t miss anything if you closed and covered your eyes for that short bit. There aren’t abruptly flashing lights that I noticed in the rest of the recording
