Todays photo is of an intaglio print that comes from a photo plate of an original darkroom photo that I shot and developed called '100 years' kinda a super cliche name for a photograph of a cemetery but hey, I'm kind of a cliche girl.

Eating Easy

This Javanese Grasshopper nymph (Valanga nigricornis) had chosen this yellow and older leaf that would apparently be softer and make chewing and extracting water easier without having to fight tough plant defense toxins. This leaf would also have pooled enough carbohydrates and simple sugars to make its taste highly attractive. The nymph would likely avoid biting into those thick structural veins, choosing instead to "margin-feed" on the softer tissue between them.

Hey folx, i wanted to let you know that I've been going through some financial struggles as of late.
As such, I'm willing to work on commissions, and edits to raise the money.
(I will accept donations, too, but I'd rather work for it..)
Anything helps.
I'm 600$ in the hole and my clothes are falling apart..
The types of commission work i do is poster making, some graphic design work mostly in the print sector, photography work, and photographic editing and image manipulation.
If you send me a DM with "id like some work done" or some variation of that, I will get your message.
Anything helps.

The Critically Endangered Climber

Stumbled upon this about two years back at the side of the Bukit Timah Visitor Centre in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. However, we could no longer find it there in a recent visit.
