Aaron’s spent the last 5 days with the Barton Boys (aka the worst comedy troupe the world has ever been subjected to), while trying to talk to potential business partners who are obviously unimpressed by his level of broken French, in the blistering heat of the summer sun, and the longest he’s been able to get Robert on the phone for is about 5 minutes before one of them is pulled away for one reason or another. He's sick of it.

Happy Short Fic Sunday! This is a real treat, a lovely little boyfriend era fic about Aaron missing Robert while he's away on a work trip. It's understated but deeply, deeply romantic. Perfectly captures the feeling of new love, where it actually hurts to be away from the other person and where you could spend all night on the phone with them just listening to them breath.
