I'm playing through the Phoenix Wright games for the first time and I'm not a huge shipping person but there is no way anyone can convince me Phoenix and Edgeworth aren't 100% secretly in love with each other.
Look at them. Look at how they act. Look at them.
They didn't forget each other for years. Phoenix became a defence attorney to *find Edgeworth*. Edgeworth becomes clearly more expressive and generally softer after meeting Phoenix. This man says the line "Thanks to you, I am saddled with unnecessary... Feelings."
I have never seen anything clearer.
