Poppy is asexual. She likes feeling cute and sexy! The world needs more asexual representation that aren't villains or cold, unfeeling robots. Or aliens.

Asexuality is dynamic. Some of us are sex repulsed, but nowhere near all of us! Some aces enjoy having sex, some have conditional attraction, some see it as a nice activity that helps with emotional intimacy. And no matter where they fall on that spectrum, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LOVE THEIR BODY!!!

Main cast:

Laz is the grumpy dad of the group. He's very tender when it's called for, but spends most of his time puzzling over problems and gathering information. He's the kind of person who always thinks before he acts.

Moira is Gobkin. There are many subraces of Goblin in the setting of Phoenix, and Gobkin is the umbrella term for all of them. Moira has a talent for working with magic items and helps them find their own voices. She's essential to the rehabilitation of the cursed objects they rescue.

Poppy's the new hire. She hasn't found her niche in the group yet, and she has mysterious powers she's never told anyone about...

Poppy's a demihuman. One of her parents is an elemental! Her father is a magistrate (which is basically a magic lawyer) and her mother has a flower shop and runs a soup kitchen out of their home on the weekends.

She's a plant elemental, and a kitchen witch. Plant elementals are inherently magical. They grow vegetation when they have strong emotions and when they age. Eventually the vines growing out of them take over their whole body and they become the earth 🍂
