We all know why this jacket is sold out.
Baby~
Phinksx!Fem Reader
"Y/N!"
You turned around to see a towel flying straight at you. You smirked as you caught it just in time, moving it to the side to wink at the person who had thrown it.
Phinks chuckled as he walked towards you, dressed in his usual green tracksuit while holding a plain black umbrella over his head. He sighed, noticing how wet your clothes were. He then blushed when he saw how tightly your dress now hugged your body. The brute cleared his throat. "Don't tell me you believed the weather man again?! How many times do I have to tell yo--"
You kicked him slightly on the shin as you dried your hair with the towel. "I'm fine! Besides, I can always count on you for an umbrella and a nice dry towel, right?"
The blonde rolled his eyes, holding himself back from berating you more. He watched as you laughed, a sinking feeling slowly taking over his chest.
You stopped laughing and stared at the unusually quiet man. "Phinks?"
He snapped out of his trance, replacing his blank stare with a smile. "You said you wanted sushi, right? Let's go."
You had made it a tradition for you and Phinks to go out for dinner every year on the first day of Spring. As much as he'd complain about it, he never missed the day.
You and Phinks had been friends since Junior High. You were managing the basketball team he was on when he had suffered a torn ACL. You had helped him on his road to recovery, not knowing that the time spent with the boisterous and overly confident jock would result in such a close friendship.
Phinks began to run into trouble with the law as the both of you grew older. This resulted in you having to bail him out of jail, almost as often as he had to bail you out of bad dates.
You knew you could always count on him, and you would be there for him at the drop of a hat.
"Ah!" You stretched your arms over your head as you both exited the restaurant, your stomach having reached its limit. "Thank you for dinner, Phinks! You really didn't have to."
Phinks stayed quiet, simply replying with a nod.
The Gucci clad man pointed towards the water. "You okay if we stand over there for a bit?"
There was something Phinks wanted to tell you, but he was having trouble figuring out exactly what it was...
You leaned over the wooden railing, smiling as you took in the view of the moon slowly lowering over the water. "It's finally spring." Your mouth formed into a smile. It was your favorite season.
Phinks nodded, his eyes focused on the river.
You stared at Phinks as he thought. There was something that you had been meaning to ask him for so long now.
Maybe it was when he smiled at you from the podium, thanking you for helping him recover and making it to the championships. Maybe it was when he held you as you cried when you had finally broken up with your abusive ex-boyfriend. Maybe it was when the two of you had first met that first Spring.
But somewhere between then and now-- you had fallen in love with Phinks.
There were quiet moments when you noticed your glances becoming stares, your hugs lasting longer than usual, and a faint blush across his cheeks when you had secretly caught him staring at you.
You had stopped yourself from telling him for so long, scared it'd ruin your friendship. You didn't want to lose him.
You continued to stare. You took in his broad shoulders, how the moon illuminated his already golden eyes, and his hands that you wanted to hold onto. Forever.
"Phinks--"
"Y/N."
You chuckled waving your hands, unaware of how red your face now was. "Sorry, you go first!"
Flustered, Phinks shook his head. "No, you go. Don't even bother trying to argue with me!"
You stood there dumbfounded, looking at the ground as if the answer to what you should say would magically appear.
"Y/N?"
You took a deep breath. It was too late to back out now.
"Phinks...what...am I to you?"
Phinks raised his brow bone. "Huh? You're...human?"
You rolled your eyes, aware of how oblivious he could be at times. "No, dummy...I mean...what am I to you?" You clenched your jaw, the sound of blood rushing filling your ears.
Phinks repeated the question in his head, trying to decipher what you were asking him.
Several minutes passed, sending your anxiety through the roof. There was no other way to do it-- you just had to say it.
"Dammit, Phinks! I'm asking what I am to you because...I..."
Phinks tilted his head, still confused. "You what?"
You bit your lip. He was such an idiot sometimes.
Why are you making this so much harder than it needs to be?!
Phinks' heart dropped, finally realizing what you were about to tell him.
"Phinks, I think I lo--"
He panicked, his face turning a deep red.
NO WAY! IS SHE?!
He looked around frantically before disappearing into thin air.
You stood there dumbfounded. You had spent the whole time guessing what he was going to say, that you never expected him to not say anything at all.
"Well, I guess that answers that..."
You took a deep breath as you held in your tears, too proud to cry. If anything-- you could tell Phinks you were joking the next time you saw him.
I'm such an idiot.
You tossed in bed, unable to shake the feelings of hurt, embarrassment and rejection that seemed to take over every aspect of your being.
Angrily, you threw the covers off before throwing a jacket over your night gown.
I need to get my mind off of this...
You walked to the docks by your house, sighing as you sat at the very end of the wooden pier. You cringed as you replayed the moment in your head again.
"Phinks..."
"Yeah?"
You screamed as your turned around startled, nearly falling into the water.
Phinks caught you by the waist, keeping his hand on you as he pulled you up.
"You never listen to what I tell you. You're always whining about something or crying. Not to mention you're always hungry."
You blushed, unsure of what he was trying to say.
Before you could speak, you felt a chill rush down your spine as Phinks lifted his hand up to your face.
"You're hopeless on your own...but I know that I'd give my whole life up for you in a heartbeat."
You stood there in shock, wondering if this was just a dream.
Phinks smiled as he moved his face closer towards you, stroking your cheek with his thumb.
"What you are to me...well...you're my baby."
LOL. Sorry I don't know what the hell that was. I just saw this picture and it reminded me of Phinks. I didn't know what to write, so I just typed whatever came to mind first. Might write something again if a better idea comes along. Hope you enjoyed reading it (even just a little).
PHINKS INTERVIEW
INTERVIEWER: Hello Phinks! Thank you for joining us! First off, Iâd like to wish you a belated happy birthday! How old are you now? PHINKS: *Looks around the empty studio* When did I get here?! INTERVIEWER: *Laughs* Anyways, weâve got some great questions from your fans
PHINKS: *Fails to hold in a smirk* Oh yeah? Well, I canât let my fans down. *Leans back comfortably in chair* Ask away.
INTERVIEWER: *Clears throat*Â SO, our first question is a bit of a deep one...Phinks, what do you look for in a partner?
PHINKS: How is that deep? Thatâs easy. I look for a partner with good long range attacks. I like to get up close and personal with the bastards I fight. Having a partner who can do the âclean upâ if needed is a weight off my shoulders.
INTERVIEWER: I donât think thatâs what they meant by partner...BUT ANYWAYS...What is your favorite social media?
PHINKS: Social..media? Why are you using a bunch of weird science terms?! I donât know what the hell youâre talking about. Are you trying to make me look st--
INTERVIEWER: *Fans hands in an attempt to calm the wild himbo* Itâs...nevermind. Um, whatâs your biggest pet peeve?
PHINKS: Nothing pisses me off more than when people cough or sneeze without covering their mouths. If youâre going to be a gross bastard, you can DO IT IN HELL! Â
INTERVIEWER: Woah! Okay! *Coughs quietly into bend of arm*Â
PHINKS: ALSO when people leave dirty dishes in the sink. Whatâs the point?! I hate the bullshit excuse of âletting it soakâ. Just scrub harder, dammit!
INTERVIEWER: You heard it folks! Wash your dishes! Now about the group youâre in, the âPhantom Troupeâ-- who do you get along with the most and the least..not counting Hisoka.
PHINKS: *Rolls eyes* Well there goes one of my answers...Feitan is the only one I can really stand for long periods of time. He doesnât talk too much, and he doesnât use a bunch of big words like Chrollo likes to sometimes..Uh..least...probably Uvogin. Bastard is always trying to fight me...or kiss me. Itâs weird.
INTERVIEWER: If this next questions is too hard to answer feel free to say âpassâ
PHINKS: *SCOFFS* Nothing is too hard for me! I back away from nothing!
INTERVIEWER: What was the last thing that made you cry?
PHINKS: *Goes quiet*
INTERVIEWER: Phinks?...are you..?
PHINKS: M...Marley & Me.
INTERVIEWER: What?
PHINKS: NEXT QUESTION!
INTERVIEWER: Now these next questions were asked by several of your fans, and weâre all looking forward to your answer.
PHINKS: Sounds fun.
INTERVIEWER: Where are your eyebrows? What happened to your eyebrows?  What do you think about people with big bushy eyebrows? Do you love them? Do you hate them? Would you steal their eyebrows to use them on yourself?
PHINKS: WHAT THE HELL?!
INTERVIEWER: ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, PHINKS!
PHINKS: Why are people so obsessed with eyebrows?! Theyâre just overrated pieces of hair over your eyes! My eyes are LITERALLY gold, and NO ONE mentions that! Whatâs with you people?! Â
INTERVIEWER: WHERE ARE YOUR EYEBROWS?
PHINKS: I DONâT WANNA--
INTERVIEWER: PHINKS!
PHINKS: People used to say my eyebrows looked...girly... So, one day, when I was YOUNGER AND DIDNâT KNOW A DAMN THING...I tried to make them look more manly. But they kept looking dumber and dumber...so I pulled them all out thinking theyâd grow back better. But they never did. THERE! Are you happy, you sick bastards?! *Holds in tears*
INTERVIEWER: Thank you for sharing that story, Phinks. I have one last question for you: If you could change anything of your life, what would you change?
PHINKS: *Bites lip* MY EYEBROWS! *Runs out of studio*
THANK YOU to everyone who submitted some questions for our King Himbo! I had a lot of fun with this, and I hope you all enjoyed as well <3
Phinks x Reader (Are you okay?)
Phinks walked beside you, his hands in the pockets of his Gucci tracksuit.
âWhatâs up?â The blonde man looked down at you, sensing that something was wrong. âYouâre quiet.â
You sighed, realizing you had failed at hiding how you were feeling.  âThings are just...a lot right now.â You were feeling uninspired, and unmotivated. There was so much going on, and nothing at the same time. Â
He sat on a park bench, motioning for you to sit beside him.
âDo you want to talk about it?â
You shook your head. âNo.â You sat with your head down, your hands on your lap.
He smiled at you sadly, frustrated that he couldnât simply get rid of whatever was bothering you.Â
He carefully reached out, gingerly holding your fingers between his.  âIs this okay?â Â
You simply nodded your head. You didnât feel like talking.
Over an hour had passed before Phinks spoke.
âDonât worry. Everything will be alright.â
He kissed you on your forehead before returning to his previous position.
I hope that one day, youâll see yourself the way I see you.

Phinks running into ex
Phinks groaned as him and Feitan exited the liquor store. The blonde haired man leaned back and massaged his neck, his other hand carrying several bags of beer.
Feitan chuckled quietly under his mask.  âToo. heavy. for. you? Weakling.â
Phinks furrowed his brow bones.  âShut up! Itâs not that. I just donât get why we always have to be the ones to buy that dumbass his booze!â He swallowed and looked around discreetly, hoping Uvogin hadnât followed them somehow. Â
Phinks snapped out of his trance when his leg bumped into something hard.
âThe hell?!â
He looked down, taken aback when he noticed he had walked into someoneâs suitcase. Â
A young woman checked over the suitcase for any damage.
âWatch where youâre going, bud--â
Phinks felt his heart drop as his eyes met with the woman in front of him.Â
"Phinks...â
The woman seemed to freeze. It was as if she were seeing a ghost.
Memories that Phinks had pushed to the back of his mind began to re-emerge all at once, overwhelming him.
Phinks clenched his jaw, the last time he saw her playing in his head.
âIâll...Iâll wait for you, Phinks! Â Just tell me thatâs what you want.â
âHey. Yeah...this is...yeah.â
The woman continued to look at Phinks. There were so many things she wanted to say.
âI...never thought Iâd see you again, Phinks. Let alone on the other side of the world!â She chuckled awkwardly.
Phinks went to talk but stopped when his eyes fixed themselves upon something shining on the womanâs left hand.
Sheâs...
The woman noticed Phinksâ stare as she pulled her hand to her side.
âAnyways, it was nice to see you. Iâve gotta get going. Take care, Phinks.â She smiled sadly at him before walking away past him and Feitan.
---
Phinks laid in bed, thinking about his ex.
It had been 10 years since he had last seen her.
She was the first and last serious relationship he had ever been in. Any other relationships after that were nothing but casual hook ups.
He didnât think about her often, but when he did, heâd think about her for hours.
Phinks thought about how she used to smile as she looked up at him.
How small her hand felt in his, and how sheâd complain the size difference made it hurt to intertwine their fingers. Â
Early mornings and late nights when he would relish the feeling of her body against his...
How her eyes seemed to sparkle whenever she was happy, and especially whenever he told her he loved her. Â
Her eyes...they were so...cold.
He swallowed, thinking about the last time he saw her...
âYouâre joining a gang?! Phinks! Are you crazy?!â
The woman pulled at Phinksâ wrist, his back turned to her.
âItâs not a gang! Itâs a lot more complicated, and I canât explain it to you...itâs safer this way. I donât know whatâs going to happen to me in the next year on this job...stop making this harder than it needs to be! Just--â
The woman fell to her knees, her hands grabbing tighter onto Phinksâ sleeves.
âIt doesnât matter, Iâll...Iâll wait for you, Phinks! Just tell me thatâs what you want.â
She leaned her forehead onto Phinks, sobbing quietly as she waited for his answer.
Please...
Phinks took a deep breath, fighting the foreign feeling of his eyes beginning to burn.
âItâs not what I want.â
--------
He had always been honest with her up until that point. The fact that she meant so much to him was the reason why he had to do what he did. Â
They were drowning in debt; Phinks unable to land a stable job due to a few run ins with the law over the course of several years.Â
No one wanted to hire a criminal.
She had been working 3 jobs to provide for them, saying she didnât mind as long as they could keep things the way they were.Â
She had fought so hard for them...
He couldnât stand to watch her suffer anymore. He didnât want to be useless.
He had met Chrollo one day after fighting several thugs in an alley years before he met his ex. Chrollo had given him a piece of paper with his number on it, saying to give him a call if he ever wanted to be rewarded for his strength.Â
Phinks found the piece of paper while moving things around their apartment. He figured it wouldnât hurt to give Chrollo a call to see what he had to offer. He hoped he would remember him.
The initiation test to get into the Phantom Troupe was deadly, and there was a large probability that he would have died. It wouldnât have been fair to make her wait for a dead man.
When he finished the initiation he went to find her again, but she was gone. It was almost as if she had disappeared off the face of the Earth. Â
The only thing her friends and co-workers were able to tell him were that she was so distraught after their break up, that she wanted âto start over again, completely.â
Where did she go? What had she been doing for the past 10 years?
He thought about the ring on her finger.
What was the other person like? Did they look after her?Â
Did they know just how lucky they were?
What if he never left? Would they have been married by now? Maybe they would have a kid..or more...
He shook his head and growled before throwing a pillow onto his bed.
Phinks stood up as he looked at his shirtless reflection in the mirror.
He gently stroked the tattoo on the left side of his chest.
A heart with her name in it.Â
He had gotten it after one of their biggest fights, her claiming he didnât love her. It was the only way he could think of proving how he felt about her at the time.
Stupid kid.
He smiled sadly before turning back to his bed, a large tattoo of a spider and the number 5 covering his back, replacing the previous reflection.
There was no other life for him but the Spiders now.Â
