Every once in a while, I find a gem in a big box store. I went to Home Depot last night, and there she was. A Philodendron Green Congo "Nuclear." I remember that one of the variegated Congo forms was going for quite a bit of money at one time. I never jumped on that kind of spending. But this one cost $25. It was part of the Nursery Knockouts collection from Hampshire Farms. It was the only one there, just waiting for me, a late birthday gift to myself. 😁 🪴

Laceleaf Philodendron / Philodendron bipinnatifidium
I hadn’t seen these in stores or nurseries in quite a while. But they’re really fun cause they grow more up then out compared to other philodendrons imo
My painted ladies, Daio Chan (l) and Jang Hui (r). You can definitely see the difference between placement at an east-facing (Hui) vs. a west-facing (Chan) window. I put them together in the West position, and I already see Hui's leaves changing.
