(Little Personal on the HBOND Subject whenever I look into Various Adaptations).
I Always Found Myself Intrigued in the Idea on How Frollo's Usually Depiction has Changed in Animation Outside of LA with Actors. Like, It's Hard to Find Another that Looks like Gargamel that isn't Disney's with Grey Hair.
Like, Take for Example Other '96 Frollos that look like Dick Dastardly or Gaston. The First Ones on Top of My Head are the "Buff Frollos" as I'd like to Call Them.
(Unless if You Consider Jean-Claude to be more of an Original Character).
I Find it Hilarious on How They Tend to Twist Frollo into a Young/Slightly 30-ish Handsome Guy Despite None of Them Looking like the OG Frollo.
I Think Burbank's '96 Re-Done Version of Him Would Kinda Look Something like the OG Frollo but the '96 Remake is Nothing More Compared to Burbank's 86 First Frollo (Which IMO is Best Frollo Before Disney's).
Hate to Say This but I Think Dingo, Goodtimes, & Mondo did Justice with Him Way Best much like with Burbank's First Version of Frollo.
You Can Obviously Tell Because All of Them are Archdeacons just like the OG.
But also, Do You Wanna Know What's Ironic of What I Sense of All These Cartoon Frollos if You Compared Every Single One of Them with Disney's Frollo the fact They (expect Burbank's First '86) Came from the 90s?
They All Wear in Black AND Red, Most of the Other 90s Frollos I've Seen are Red which There are Rare Non-Red Ones.
Honestly, I Don't Think Red is Such a Bad Color for Him TBH, I Mean, Red equals Hell equals Evil so I Don't Think It's such an Odd Choice for Him to Wear in the Kind of Color. It Really is a Special Kind of an Color of Evil for a Creepy Man rather than Him in Black (Which is Another Color of Clothing that Still Works).
"Oh, but Book! Frollo wasn't so Bad in the Book until He--"
He's Still Evil Lusting After a Girl He Never Knew Much about in His Life and Has Committed Crimes throughout the Story, So Don't Try to Defend Him.
