Echo: Pharah, what’s your favorite part of flying?

Pharah: It’s... hard to put into words, honestly. All I know is that I miss it when I’m on the ground. 

Echo: I don’t touch the ground!

Pharah: *flatly* I know.

Ashe: Rocket launcher, huh? Guess it’s safe to say you don’t have your mama’s aim.

Pharah: I wouldn’t say it’s safe to say that, actually. Especially not to someone with a rocket launcher.

Baptiste: *sigh* You know, when I was a kid, I wanted to join Overwatch more than anything. But...  they never recruited in Haiti. That’s why I joined the Coalition.

Pharah: If it’s any consolation, you could have your mother be one of the highest ranking officers in Overwatch and still not get in.

Baptiste: Oof. That sounds... complicated.

Pharah: You’re telling me.

Pharah: It’s really exciting to meet you, Zarya. I’ve actually watched a lot of your weightlifting matches. 

they’re both very low-key about their relationship. pharah is just like that, but zarya is in the public spotlight, and doesn’t want to make pharah uncomfortable.

that said, zarya is very very affectionate and warm and wants to gush about her amazing girlfriend all the time. if you’re close friends with her she will always have something to say about fareeha.

they both work in security in a way, so they don’t get to spend holidays or anniversaries together most of the time. when things are quiet on the front, aleks gets enough time off to dote on fareeha a bit.

they absolutely go to rock shows together when they can get the chance. they share a love of rock and metal, and introduce each other to a lot of lesser known bands from their hometown provinces.
