Oop

I don’t know how to describe how much phantom has meant to me. I truly do not know who I would be without it. Ever since I heard the first notes of the medley my middle school choir was going to sing, it became a part of who I am and the thing I love most dearly. I remember being convinced phantom would close before I could see it when I first discovered it, then thinking it would never close after I got to experience it on Broadway for the first time at 16. When I heard that the impossible was happening I knew I had to see it one last time and was lucky enough to see it in December and March. I know this is not the end of phantom, but the splendor of the brilliant original will always hold a special place in my heart and it is so sad it won’t be there in the Majestic anymore.
