Number 6 in the books. Slow but in the books. I now have the Pittsburgh- Rust Belt, Chicago- the Midwest and New York City so I am on my way to taking over the Country.

Really liking Pittsburgh, although walking around downtown has made me realize I may have to reevaluate my ability to interpret elevation maps. Some solid hills down here.
500! Just one mile today. I had to fight for my mile today. I have some odd overuse pains and pangs. I have a headache today when I hadn’t had one in five days. I was feeling incredibly tired and sluggish. But you don’t let 500 go. I’m not sure what the immediate future holds with regard to anything, let alone my #RunStreak. I am hopeful that I’ll continue, but I’m also watching the local numbers change. Since we don’t have bathroom in the basement, I can’t quarantine with the treadmill if I test positive. I recognize that the next milestone may not be hit and it may not be any fault of my own. I will continue to run as long as I am healthy and it’s safe for my whole family. Today’s one mile keeps my daily average right around 3.2 miles per day since Labor Day 2019. I’m hoping for longer tomorrow and Sunday with a quick mile on Saturday due to cross country. #RunJennaRun #OhioRunner #RunOhio #AutumnRunning #RunnersWithMigraines #RunLikeAWoman https://instagr.am/p/CGGP7ponvuS/
I almost didn’t run right after work, planning on a late night on the treadmill since Josh is working. But it was so gorgeous out: 55°, sunny, and lightly breezy. I just had to go run outside! 5 miles Jenna Streak Day 497 71 weeks of daily running! #RunStreak #OhioRunner #RunOhio #RunLikeAWoman #RunJennaRun #AutumnRunning https://instagr.am/p/CF-l254HwPT/
The smoke haze made it to Ohio. It looked exceptionally weird this morning. Josh and I argued about it. Isn’t marriage fun? (Yes. Yes it is. Love you, Josh!) I almost missed an outside run today which would have been a shame. The temps were so cool! I hope our schedule normalizes soon. All the same, today was #RunStreak 477. My mileage is low this month as I continue living with these migraine and we transition into this hybrid school year. There will always be time for more mileage. #RunJennaRun #OhioRunner #RunOhio #OhioSunset #SeptemberSunset https://instagr.am/p/CFLXJ0Fn0bi/

Up before sunrise today to get my miles in as today is a little ridiculous. The sky was actually much more on fire prior to this picture, but I was running in the wrong direction. By the time I got up to the church, things were starting to fade. It’s so dark at 6:00 now. Oh, summer. We shortchange you, don’t we? I didn’t want to pause my run and tank my overall pace to take this picture, but then figured that anyone creeping my overall pace is a jerk anyway, so I took the picture. Always take the picture. You won’t regret it. Ask me how I know. I thought about a lot on my run this morning. Gramps had a stroke on Saturday morning. Our lives are just filled with this nonstop grief and loss. I’m desperately trying to take care of everyone, which is why I was stress cleaning the stovetop at 10:00 last night. I don’t know when all of this will end or if it will. I’d like to take a breath. But the sun rises every morning. Every day I get another chance to love my people as fiercely as possible and be the best mom I can be in the moment I’m given. I’ll take it. 3.02 miles today for a total of 102.91 in August. (Only five days of which this month were migraine free.) #RunStreak Day 462. 66 weeks of running at least one mile every day for a total of 1479.9 which is an average of 3.2 miles per day. Onward. #RunJennaRun #RunOhio #OhioRunner #RunLikeAWoman #SunriseRun #AugustSunrise #AugustSlippedAway #MentalHealth #1w2 #Type1Enneagram https://instagr.am/p/CEje1GsnT2P/
I was near tears after dinner because my head hurt so badly. I went out to water the flowers and felt surprised by how much cooler it was than earlier in the day. So I put on my running clothes and ran a total of 3.89 miles. I had been planning on yet another treadmill run because it was supposed to storm, but the weather missed us. I’m so glad. I finished up my cooldown looking up the hill to this sight. It actually got more colorful after this shot, but I was sacked out on the porch, staring at the sky. #RunStreak Day 458 #RunJennaRun #RunOhio #OhioRunner #AugustSunset #Migraine #RunningWithMigraines https://instagr.am/p/CEaasX0n5E6/
With these migraines, my morning workouts are almost impossible. I’m listening to my body, and that means saving any workouts for later in the day when my morning pain is too much. Now that I’m employed again, that’s tricky. So, I did yoga on my lunch break. And when I turned around an hour or so later, I found the dogs on my new yoga mat. I did my running workout after dinner and cleaning to round out #RunStreak day 443. One foot in front of the other. One dog and then the other. #RunJennaRun #GSD #ThingsCallieBarksAt #ThingsMarleySmilesAt #Yoga #HomeOffice #YogaWithDogs https://instagr.am/p/CDz4bCQHoYK/
