Fun fact: Despite that he’s been around for years I’ve literally never drawn Jacques the same way twice. I may keep this design. At least Pet is always recognizable though.
Another fun fact: Before I alctually watched Tangled: the Series I knew Varian as “That kid that dresses like Pet” I’ve always seen it and I doubt I’ll ever unsee it.

I STILL can’t believe ppl were not more all over this i mean its so fucking great its a fuckign display of the same personality traits we assumed onceler would take on during his fame/fortune phase andn represented in certain ask blogs and here its like, confirmed in canon???!? like obviously some of it was indicated we didn’t get the ideas we had from nothing but its like the only non-musical moment during that point in time that we’re so curious about besides that one scene where he blows up at the Lorax, which, then, immediately segues into him being cut down to size (l o l) when the last tree falls yadda yadda yadda. And that moment was just showing him being quick to anger which says a lot of things but THIS cut clip even though its silly (fucking hilarious) reveals both overreaction and a kind of kooky grandiose eccentricity, that, while not unrelated to the sassiness exhibited before success, seems a bit more unhinged and, of course, imperious to a ridiculous fault.

Pfft I'm not feelin sorry for you. I just seem to recall you having them? And I've been hanging around for a while.
Well unfortunately I haven't done a real good job keeping up with them, and they haven't really kept up with me either. Guess we're just busy all around. Either way I reckon it's best to cut my losses and keep moving forward. And besides, I have tons of family members, two pets, and lotsa kouhais that look up to me. That's better than having friends I reckon.
