What are your favorite foods? Do you two get along with each other? Does one of you act like the boss over the other? Do you have a favorite game? And last question - How do you treat your owner?

The chinchillas are eating mostly hay pellets and timothy hay. They can have treats from time to time, like dry leaves, apple sticks, dry flowers, dry dandelion roots... The ultimate treat, however, is goji berries. They can have these only once a month and they could sell my house for them. They can't have any fruit, seed, nut or veggie though.

Thor and Mjöllnir are twin brothers, they have always lived together. They can fight from time to time, like all brothers, but most of the time, they love hanging out with each other. They're always cleaning each other and sleeping in the same hammock.

There's always a dominant in a chinchilla pair. Mjöllnir is the dominant one in the pair. That's also why he's bigger.

Their favorite game is to throw all the hay outside of the cage at 3 a.m and then watch me clean it because they get mad when there's no hay anymore. They also throw wood outside and then look at me like they had no stick in the last century.

My relationship with them evolved a lot. At first, none of them wanted to have anything to do with me, but with patience, it's changing!

Mjöllnir has always be more social, so he was easy to tame. Now he's on my shoulders every evening, throwing tantrums when I ignore him and he tolerates petting when he's tired. If he's not, he's biting my fingers lol. I can do pretty much whatever with him, he doesn't mind. He's a little silly too. He's not the brightest, but he's trying really hard to use his two brain cells, I promise.

Thor is shyer. He definitely likes to hang close to me, but he doesn't want to be touched (even though I managed to pet him a few times these last weeks!). He likes to come on my shoulders too, but he's doing it slowly, and at the first weird sound, he's done for the night. He's curious though, and extremely clever. I taught him a few tricks using treats, like jumping in little wood rings, and he's quite good at it eheh.

Thor relies a lot on his brother, though, he's his entire world and support in life. And his butt is a nice pillow too.
