That’s a big fear of Molly’s once she starts to Come to Terms with everything. That Peter would be disappointed in her (though a big part of her shoves that down cause he’s not even there so why should it matter). 

But no, I don’t think he would be disappointed in her. I think he would be understanding of what she went through and how she chose to deal with it because it’s very in character of her. Peter is a very forgiving character and isn’t one to hold things against people. 

If anything, he’d probably be a little sad that the situation caused her to feel forced to choose that lifestyle. I think he’d just want to comfort her and tell her it’s all okay. Which is ironic considering he’s the one who got dusted for five years lol. 

She’s not so much older. It’s a five year difference. Not like twenty or whatever. They’ll still be together. 

And as a reminder, Molly is a year younger than Peter and Co. to begin with, so by the time Infinity War rolls around, she’s 16 while Peter and Co. are 17. Five years later puts her at 21 and then Peter turns 18 during Far From Home. 

While on a school field trip to Oscorp, Molly steals one of the spider’s from the lab because she wants to analyze it 

Cut to her being bitten by said spider and given superpowers that she never thought possible

She knows about the spider’s biology but knows nothing about how to be ~undercover~ as a superhero so obviously she attracts the attention of Peter

Who then helps her become a REAL superhero, with the web shooters, the do gooder deeds she can do, and tech galore – since he’s an intern for Tony Stark…

They work together as a team in taking down Queens’ worst, all the while falling in looooooovveeee

Oh I ABSOLUTELY can! 

It takes a long while for her to become the 🥰one but she does eventually. On example of it is when they’re sitting on the couch, sometimes his head is in her lap while he’s reading a book for English or something and she likes to mindlessly run her fingers through his hair because it’s so floofy and soft.

There was a loud, almost-warrior-like cry from behind him, followed by the sickening sound of a knife plunging into an alien over and over in various spots. He whirled around, having not paid attention to his Spidey sense since it had been going off as soon as he stepped out of the portal. The slain alien slumped to the ground as the attacker pulled her knife from the back of its neck -- a perfect point to paralyze and render useless before she had continued to kill it. 

Blowing a piece of hair out of her face, her eyes flicked over to meet his. Peter had stared into those eyes plenty of times, making them easily recognizable even though five years had passed. And from the looks of it, those five years had been tough. There was a scar that started right above her eyebrow, cutting across the bone in a slight U shape and ending right by her ear. Fresh cuts and blossoming bruises marked her face, mixing with dirt and non-human blood, no doubt from tussling with a few aliens and Thanos himself. The short brown hair he was used to had grown longer, even though it was pulled back tightly, some longer strands had escaped during battle. 

“Molls?” he whispered out, not completely sure that the young woman standing in front of him was the girl he fell in love with all those years ago. She twirled the ring knife in her hand out of habit, then gave him an almost embarrassed smile which looked out of place on a battle-hardened face like hers.

“Hey, Pete.” her eyes were beginning to water.

Hmmmm okay I sort of went high school teen rom com on this??: 

Obviously I’d have Q Proctor and Steve Rogers as the Rebel who skips class and smokes on school property and the popular football player with a heart of gold (like he’s the quarterback who’s nice to everyone, but won’t back down from standing up whenever someone’s getting bullied, yaknow?)

Dawson and Natasha would be the asshole Nerd who keeps to himself, but always finds himself in detention and the Captain of the cheerleading squad who everyone is terrified of for some unknown reasons (there’s too many rumors about her) 

Molly would be the Perfect Goody-Two Shoes while Peter would be the nerdy kid who thinks he’s a loser but everyone kinda likes him?? 

Of course Kitty would be the Queen Bee of the school and Bucky would be the Jock guy who really just wants to study computers and is actually a huge nerd lmao
