As Joyce turns around, she’s completely caught off-guard by the presence of the younger girl... so she only has a second to blink away her tears, and try and pretend that she hadn’t just been crying. It’s probably useless, of course... the redness of her eyes gives it all away, and she suspects that she looks like a mess, too. It could be worse, though. At least Nancy hadn’t caught her in the middle of her breakdown. 

“I’m- sorry.” she apologises, her voice just a little hoarse, and smiles. “It’s good to see you.”

it seemed like   HANNAH  had developed a more active social life than ethan since they had moved to hawkins. not that ethan really minded. hannah was an awesome kid, and he was happy that she found a group that realized that. ethan wasn’t really up to surrounding himself with a lot of the   YUPPIES  that seemed to heavily populate hawkins, anyways.

he had escorted hannah to the arcade to meet up with some friends, promising to   ‘  BE COOL  ‘   and stay in his booth while she hung out with her friends.  pfft ,  he   WAS   cool.   but that byers kid that kept talking to hannah? he had his eye on him, for sure.

suddenly, a familiar face sidled up to his booth, raising his eyebrows.  “  is somebody giving you trouble?  ”   he inquired as he casually played it off.  he didn’t know nancy much beyond their first encounter or two, but he certainly wasn’t okay with some  CREEP  harassing her.   “  ‘cause i’m not afraid to give someone a new set of teeth if they’re botherin’ you.  ”

My Opinion on;

Character in general:  I’m gonna stick with Nancy for now but you have a plethora of muses on your multi who i LOVE but it’d be like opening pandora’s box. so nancy is my love. i latched onto her when i first watched stranger things and i think it was because she really proved how capable she was without the help of boys? i like her go getter attitude and while i still think she should be with steve because he’s shown (after being a jerk) that he can grow out of the norms that he’s fit in and be a better person for it? i think she deserves someone who can do that because nancy wheeler deserves the world. How they play them: we’ve just started rping but imma be honest. Ive actually followed you for a very long time when i had my bill denbrough on his solo blog back in 2018-2019. i love your nancy. i love how much YOU love nancy. you make sure to maintain the relationship she has with her brother (totally gonna @troublewheeler bc i miss them and seeing them pop up on your blog again makes me happy) and sibling relationships are so important!! im so excited for our crazy awesome crossover!! The Mun: YOU. you are an absolute sweetheart and im overwhelmed by how lovely you are! i get very nervous with new interactions but you’ve made it really easy to talk to you and come to you with ideas and that means so much. i’m excited to talk to you more and get to know you!

What is my;

exhaling a deep breath, his shoulders drop as quickly as his heart does. after everything—after three-hundred and fifty-three days of attempting to contact el, and after finally being reunited with her, she’s gone again. they’ve already lost so much time apart, even while she was here, due to the fact that they never officially got back together. now she’s gone, and the only time he’ll see her is during the holidays. it’s as if the universe is trying to tell them that they’re not as meant to be as he originally thought. every time he turns around, she’s being ripped away from him again.

watching the moving truck drive away, so does some of his hope for their future. how are they supposed to rekindle their romance if they’re long distance? it would be naive to think it’ll work out, but he knows that he can’t lose all faith in their relationship now. they met for a reason, and he fell in love with her for a reason, and, maybe, their love is being put to the test for a reason, too.

if they can survive being apart for nearly a year, if they can survive a petty breakup, then they can survive a bit of distance. plus, this really has nothing on three-hundred and fifty-three days considering they can talk on the phone and dustin’s cerebro.

then again, there’s always the possibility that it could be worse, too. because he can talk to her, and know she’s there and almost within reach, but it’ll be like trying to catch smoke with his hands. her presence will always be known, but always intangible.

mike scrunches his nose a bit, confused about the entire concept of a ‘horse girl’. regardless, maybe stacey albright isn’t as interesting at mike originally thought. of course, he certainly never thought she looked like a horse, but considering her face is a bit long, he could understand the correlation. however, what he doesn’t understand is anyone’s obsession with horses. they are pretty cool animals, but has stacey ever seen a dog? because wow!  truly incredible creatures.
