(I’m currently going between which spidey movie to drop nina into because I wanted NWD to be an avengers crossover anyway)
Chooses the pumpkin: Nina. She’s not really sure what she’s looking for but she’ll know its The One when she sees it. She see’s two that are The One so she buys them both.
Carves the pumpkin: Nina and Peter watches in fascination. She never takes a knife to it except to cut the top off to hallow it out. She just carves away at the rind until it’s thin enough for a candle to illuminate the design from the inside. When it’s finished, Nina’s hand it cramped up from the tedious movements for several hours. The other pumpkin, gets painted. Nina will paint Jack Skellington on the spiral hill. They take Peter’s breath away even if Nina is quick to point out mistakes. He’ll be sad when they have to be tossed out.
Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Nina would probably pretend to be scared just so she can hold Peter’s hand.
Matching costume idea: Nina begs Peter to let her wear the spiderman suit for halloween or to at least help her make one but he admitted he was just going to wear the suit for halloween. Nina goes as another avenger out of spite.
Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Nina’s room is cozier so they set up camp in their, watching movies and eating popcorn–which isn’t the greatest snack for cuddle forts.
Steal’s the other’s candy: Nina will take all of Peter’s twix candies and give him all of her milky ways.
Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Peter would. He wouldn’t pay attention and lose Nina and would end up having to call her so she can find him.
Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Peter’s made a game of inventing lives for the faces in Nina’s sketch book. Half of them are people she’s seen on the subway or faces she’s invented. When Halloween rolls around he’ll make them spooky. It doesn’t scare Nina but she likes listening to what he comes up with.
Collects cool-looking leaves: N I N A. She likes to incorporate them into her art when she can.
