@apotheosistmâ gets a plotted starter from Peter!
Itâs been at least a year since heâs been to the town of Hemlock Grove. A year worth of torture and brainwashing. A year's worth of killing Upirâs and werewolves and god only knows what else that is out there. There is so much blood on his hands and the wolf couldnât care. In fact, at this point, he craves it.
This is the final test, they tell him. To go hunt down an Upir by the name of Roman Godfrey. He must be important, Peter thinks, for this to be a final test. Destroy the Upir and then he will be granted his cure. No more self-loathing, no more feeling dirty because of who he is and wanting to claw through his own veins as if it will open him up and the filth will pour out of his veins.Â
Theyâve given him an address. Itâs fancy, some rich assholeâs place. This Upir must have it pretty good. Itâs late, past midnight, at least two am when he gets there. Itâs easier to hunt in the dark, to slip into a house undetected. Whether or not the Upir is actually asleep, Peter isnât sure but that doesnât matter either. One way or another, he will kill him, and he will get his cure.
Going into the residence is easy, he slips through the front door like it is nothing. Itâs dark downstairs. Good. He pauses to listen, no movement downstairs, he must be upstairs. Careful steps are taken, blade in his hand gripped tightly as he climbs up the stairs.
There are so many goddamn rooms. Itâs irritating. Hand flies out to open one thatâs half-open, fingertips gently pushing against the door. Nope, not there. A low growl rumbles in his throat - heâs impatient. He wants this over with.Â
Which is bad for him because it ends in a mistake. His pace picks up and he bumps into a table, which has a vase on it, it causes the vase to go crashing down onto the floor and breaking into several pieces. It makes Peter tense up, body going rigid before heâs quick to vanish into a room.
Who the fuck puts a table with a vase in the middle of a fucking hallway?!
Whatever, it doesnât matter. Hopefully, hiding in this room will avert suspicion but an Upir is smart and he doubts heâll be that lucky. Which is why heâs already got the blade aimed, prepared to lunge as soon as the Upir comes into the room.
