Wine-dark waves off the coast of Lynn, MA in December. Sometimes red algae collects near the shoreline giving the water this incredible color.
Tomorrow will be the last time I'll get another "high 5" from her. It will be the last time I get to see her look up at me with her dopey little grin. She always reminds me of Dobby from Harry Potter when she smiles. 🥹
The amount that I'm going to miss this sassy dog isn't one that can be measured with words.
Hoping my special people here can help send my extra special ball of fluff as much good energy as possible through your screens for a peaceful send-off. And me, because I sure af am going to need it.
Above are some impressions from Copenhagen where I'm currently staying.
The city is very beautiful, with some creative modern architecture, and it's very compact, too, which means you can easily reach most destinations on foot. The food is excellent (I just had the best mousse au chocolat of my entire life for dessert), the people are nice, everyone seems to own a bike, and I just love the vibe of the whole place.
The group I'm travelling with is great, too, although the average age seems to be around 65 years. I'm by far the youngest person on this trip, but that was to be expected. So far, everyone has been very nice, though, and I've already (accidentally) charmed all the older ladies. Tomorrow we're going on an actual city tour, before we'll leave Copenhagen in the afternoon to catch the ferry to Oslo. :)
