I think it really says something that the argument to not be antisemitic is so jews arent encouraged to move to israel, rather than say, dont be antisemitic because we're anti racist/bigotry/etc
Not to mention that this also gets reverse argued as being Israel/Netanyahu's plan all along, as if the antisemitism is either not real or a false flag, and its like okay, so why would you want to help that cause by being the very thing you say doesnt exist?

It looks like the update is being rolled back for now, but it also looks like Tumblr staff may be eyeing something similar in the future ("We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves").
As someone who's spent most of their time on algorithm / engagement-based social media, I do not trust that wording. Tumblr isn't entirely organic, but a lot of it revolves around common interests and community, not who gets "credit" [aside from the OP]. I'd keep an eye on this just in case.

The Kind of Person Who Doesn’t Change Clothes for Small Plans
I’ve always noticed the kind of person who doesn’t change clothes for small plans.
A quick coffee.
A short walk.
Picking something up and coming right back.
For them, these moments don’t require a reset.
They don’t pause to ask whether what they’re wearing is “right” for the situation. They don’t treat every outing like an event that needs preparation. Small plans stay small, and the clothes stay the same.
I used to think that meant indifference.
Like they didn’t care enough to try.
But after a while, I realized it was the opposite.
Changing clothes creates a line between moments. It turns ordinary things into transitions. For some people, that’s useful. For others, it feels unnecessary. The kind of person who doesn’t change clothes isn’t avoiding effort — they’re avoiding interruption.
They move through the day as one continuous experience.
I’ve watched friends like this step out the door without hesitation, already comfortable in what they’re wearing. No mirror check. No second thought. The day doesn’t need a new version of them just because the plan is minor.
Most of the time, it’s something simple and familiar — like a parke mockneck that already feels part of their routine. Not something chosen for the moment, but something that allows the moment to pass naturally.
There’s an ease to that mindset.
Small plans don’t need to be marked.
They don’t need to feel official or intentional.
They’re just parts of the day, not breaks from it.
Over time, I started to understand the appeal. Not every action needs a fresh start. Not every step outside needs to feel like a presentation.
Some people change clothes to prepare for the world.
Others stay the same so the world doesn’t interrupt them.
And the kind of person who doesn’t change clothes for small plans knows exactly which one they are.
(and a small observation about the potential D&D origins of the plane being referred to currently as 'Camazotz')
(Note Before We Begin: I am not a D&D player. I have lived with an avid player for many years and have listened to hours and hours of campaigns, but i do not have first hand experience, so please take my observations with a grain of salt)
So, i have found myself thinking of S5 in terms of how it could look if it were written out as a campaign, and part of that has been me trying to assign alignments/classes/feats etc. to the various characters.
That being established:
I think its interesting that, in D&D terms, El, Will and Kali have been (IMHO) Aberrant Mind Sorcerers since Episode 1, but due to Will's trauma, isolation, lack of connection to others with abilities and the unique nature of his acquisition of his sorcerous powers (El and Kali via blood transfusion and Will via tadpole). We obviously saw them develop differently than El and Kali.
But, i believe that Will, (again, in D&D terms, not in terms of show lore/canon of course,) might actually fit a multiclass character build more.
According to the 2024 Player's Handbook, Aberrant Mind Sorcery is defined as follows:
An alien influence has wrapped its tendrils around your mind, giving you psionic power. You can now touch other minds with that power and alter the world around you. Will this power shine from you as a hopeful beacon to others? Or will you be a terror to those who feel the stab of your mind? Perhaps a psychic wind from the Astral Plane carried psionic energy to you, or you were exposed to the Far Realm's warping influence. Alternatively, you were implanted with a mind flayer tadpole, but your transformation into a mind flayer never occurred; now the tadpole's psionic power is yours. However you acquired this power, your mind is aflame with it.
And, If we were to assign feats to each:
• El: Telekinesis (origin: Savage Attacker)
• Will: Telepathic (origin: Alert)
• Kali: Shadow Touched (origin: Lucky)
That being said, Will's unique powerset seems to indicate that he would also fit a Warlock build, specifically the Great Old One Patron subclass. The subclass is described as follows:
you might bind yourself to an unspeakable being from the Far Realm or an elder god-a being such as Tharizdun, the Chained God; Zargon, the Returner; Hadar, the Dark Hunger; or Great Cthulhu. Or you might invoke several entities without yoking yourself to one. The motives of these beings are incomprehensible, and the Great Old One might be indifferent to your existence. But the secrets you've learned nevertheless allow you to draw strange magic from it.
Furthermore, Lv 3 Great Old One Warlocks can acquire Awakened Mind, described as follows:
You form a telepathic connection between your mind and the mind of another. As a Bonus Action, choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of yourself. You and the chosen creature can communicate telepathically with each other while the two of you are within a number of miles of each other equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of I mile). To understand each other, you each must mentally use a language the other knows. The telepathic connection lasts for a number of minutes equal to your Warlock level. It ends early if you use this feature to connect with a different creature.
Needless to say this feels quite similar to what we have seen with Will's powerset as of 5x04. So i propose, that IF this were a D&D campaign, Will would be a multiclass Sorcerer/Warlock.
I don't really think this necessarily means or says anything about what will happen in the show, and i am mostly just sharing because i find it interesting and wanted to share my observations.
Re: Camazotz.
In doing some reading on Vecna I noticed in his lore that he would visit a stronghold called the Citadel of Cavitius. The Citadel is a prison and Vecna would visit the captives to indulge in their suffering. The Citadel was shaped like as skull as seen in this image:
I find it interesting that in Stranger Things, this prison turns out to be Vecna's literal skull. Again, i have no take away's other than sharing non-canon observations about supplementary lore that run's parallel to the show.
