I was having a chat today with some new friends. We were discussing gross habits and retail workers, and I volunteered that when I worked in a jewelry store rich older women would come in and stick their fingers into their mouths to get their rings off. All. The. Time.
One of the people present said, “Augh, that’s horrible, but what’s worse is I can picture my mom doing that.”
“Oh,” I said, “My mom’s habit is much worse than that.”
Three sets of eyes looked at me in dread and anticipation.
“My mom has very long hair. When we’re out at restaurants, after eating, instead of asking for a toothpick my mom will pluck a hair from her head and begin flossing with it at the table.”

Have you guys listened to the songs on Quill's Zune yet? Which ones are your favorites?
I don’t think even he’s listened to all of them yet, but that’s because he’ll get stuck on one and play it over and over and over and over until it drives the rest of us crazy. I mean, most of it sounds the same to me anyway, but even I can tell when he’s played the same song two or three dozen times in a row.
We had to hide the auxiliary cable twice now so he couldn’t play it over the Milano’s PA system and had to use his headphones instead.
