Hate hate hate how people are like "Oh your headmate is hurting someone? Just shove them down and don't let them front!" NO!! DON'T DO THAT!! No matter what, your headmates are still your headmates. They are still a part of yourselves. Suppressing your headmates is NOT healthy! I understand being worried about them harming someone, but suppressing them is not the solution.
Some of our headmates want(ed) to/try (or tried) to hurt us and others and to deal with that, we:
Talk about it with them and try to understand why they're doing what they're doing
Try to help them understand that they don't have to hurt people, it's not good to hurt people, help them learn alternatives to hurting people, etc
When they front, we try to make sure someone else is fronting with them so they can't hurt anyone
That's just what worked for us though, everyone is different, but we're hoping sharing this'll help someone.

brief illustration of wren, our ex-host, being sort of aware that he had headmates for the first time. unfortunately the analog horror introject, a persecutor and one of the first headmates we communicated with, was not actually aware that it was a headmate, and convinced us that we were crazy for imagining thtat we were multiple people. ha-ha, sucker. look at us now!

As a persecutor I’m gonna be honest I do nottt like how some people (mostly seems to be those that aren’t persecutors) kind of baby actually persecutors?? Obviously I agree that I wouldn’t want to be forced into dormancy or called an “evil alter” or something but a lot of the arguments I see are just
“Persecutors are just defending themselves!! They are probably just scared, be patient with your persecutor headmates!!! Help them recover!”
Which can totally be true, but this completely ignores the persecutors that are just. Like that. The persecutors that genuinely want to cause harm for no other reason than why the hell not. I dont like how people say all persecutors HAVE to heal like they’re some child.
Ignoring the fact that I am a child, what if I dont want to get better?
Some people need to accept that there is not good in everybody and u cannot change people for the better
The way people treat persecutors (and are usually encouraged to treat persecutors) in the community fucking disgusts me. The public shaming, the "lock them up!!", the "hurt them back!!", the way people "warn" others never to ever talk to their persecutors so they never have a chance to make a single positive social connection? It's all abuse. It's all too often very proudly shared as if it's an achievement.
I hope one day you all realise that abusing your headmate because of their role makes you as much of a persecutor as they are, they're a person too, I don't care who the hell they are. And, posting about it publicly like it's something you're proud of is just as disgusting. Do fucking better. You do not have the right to abuse your headmates, even if you're the original/core/whatever, treat your headmates like people.

One of our persecutors tried to front earlier demanding we cut off everyone and go back to being alone.
Somehow by some miracle we managed to convince ix that taking ix's anger/fear out on baking instead was a better idea. So now we've closed discord entirely and just letting ourself enjoy the cookies until ix hopefully calms down a bit.
