We love rambling around our new neighborhood, which we have dubbed ‘the Shire’, because it has so many winding, narrow lanes, charming old cottage style homes, and not a sidewalk to be seen. come along, let's take a walk through this golden October world and observe what transpires as our feet ramble on

sauntered steps, ease along on narrow paths lined in fall full of fresh rustic leaves we crush tender under foot

look at the children cavorting little monsters in their minds as they ransack and pillage fallen leaves in the park

a Frisbee, a dog chasing chaos near the lake as a mime with painted smiles dances in the afternoon sun

in this haze of sepia and tobacco tones smiles linger longer as we reminisce about the many years of friendship that keep us walking on together

our crazy days are spent in walks through late October as friends who share a taste for moments long remembered
