Your taste buds will love this Spicy Brined Chicken Burger! A spicy buttermilk mixture is used to brine the chicken breasts. They are then grilled until they are done and topped with pepper jack cheese. This burger is a must-try because the Jalapeno Yogurt Mayo makes it creamy and spicy.
Ingredients: 4 boneless chicken breasts. 1 cup buttermilk. 2 tablespoons hot sauce. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Red onion slices. 4 slices pepper jack cheese. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon lime juice.
Instructions: You can add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, buttermilk, and hot sauce to a bowl. Pour the buttermilk mixture over the chicken breasts that are in a bag that can be closed again. Put the bag in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight. Warm the grill up to medium-high heat and grease the grate. While the chicken is still wet, put it on the grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's fully cooked. Put a slice of pepper jack cheese on each chicken breast to melt in the last few minutes of cooking. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped jalapeo peppers, minced garlic, and lime juice. Set this aside while you grill the chicken. Add salt to your liking. For about a minute or two, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they get a little crispy. The burgers should be put together by putting lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each bun, then a chicken breast with melted cheese, tomato slices, and red onion slices. On the top half of the buns, spread the jalapeno yogurt mayo. Then, place the buns on top of the burgers that have been put together. Good luck with your Spicy Brined Chicken Burger with Jalapeno Yogurt Mayo! Serve it hot.
