I finally got myself the one Penny'x Box x Dollzone's Adou-Loong Fantasia doll I wanted, from their official dealer on Amzn, only to be extremely disappointed. They let me choose which doll I wanted, and I went with them despite the ones on other place being so much less expensive, but I am a weirdo. I don't like purchasing dolls from certain ecommerce places. I did purchase a few other mystery toys from that dealer in the past, and everything went okay. I hoped I had waited long enough for the broken horns not to be an issue anymore, with this series. Sadly, my beautiful boy arrived with a broken horn! My heart sank to the bottom of h3ll when I unpacked him. The packaging just doesn't have enough space between the horn and the plastic, for it to move around and not brake. Even with all that extra packaging protection.

I also got a single Monster High Potion figure, and I got Catty Noir. I was hoping for Draculaura or Twyla, from this series. I actually purchased this because it was on sale, but Amzn had it listed not as series two, but deceitfully as one -- the photos of series one. However, when I got this instead, I was close to being disappointed again. Until I saw there is a cute Draculara in this, and Twyla. Catty Noir is also a lovely figure. I am happy I got her, but definitely wish these weren't mystery toys. Or had codes, or didn't come with such gimmicky package, that's just going to end up in a landfill. I know I'll be keeping my potion bottles, but that's probably not what the main target audience (little girls, or their parents) will do. T__T;;

I am super happy with my Adou-dragon dude, only wish he hadn't come broken. I knew I would l love him, because I love original Adou as well. And I kind of always regretted not getting more, of the street-style ones, but I feel they are not available anywhere anymore...?

🖤 New Penny's Box BJD Accessories has been introduced!

I got myself a few more trading dolls this year. I purchased them last year, bu they just got here yesterday (thanks to Amzn slow-poke service, and the obvious Holiday season slowing everything down during these times). I am in-love with the NAGI Exchange Student Series Lanlan Lang boy I got! I really wanted one of the three boys, and I got one! I feel so lucky, I rarely get any of the ones I really want from trading toys, whenever there are few that I would rather not get. Those are usually the ones I end up getting! Lol! With this series, I really didn't want to get any of the girls (they are beautiful, but I rather own mostly boys, if the series has a mixed release). I wish they had made this one an all boy series, but they made the "plainer," everyday looking one the all boy series, instead of these one. Regardless, I am thinking of getting the other two boys from this series, because Lanlan is super cute, and I love the look of the other two as well!

I also got my first Penny Box Antu Tidal Secret Language Mermaid Series doll, she is stunning IRL, I got "Shimmer." I imagined these dolls would be mind-blowingly beautiful in person, more so because I have seen what the previous series are like in person (I own four centaurs and one OG PB Antu release). These mermaids are incredibly beautiful in person, I am so glad I was able to get one. I am not sure if I'll get more, I wish the one I got had a jellyfish on her hair (I love jellyfishes!), but otherwise she's so beautiful! I love her, but I already knew I would, regardless of which one I got from this set. They are all so pretty. (:

I finally got some Penny’s Box Antu (Dreamlike Tea Party) Centaurs! One of my older (grand) nieces who has a slight interest in BJD, but loves all other dolls of all types, wanted a chance to get the secret versions. So, she purchased a full set of six for that reason (from Kikagoods, first batch if I recall correctly). She’s going to college soon however, so she wanted to lighten the cost by splitting the set with me and her oldest cousin (not blood-related to me, whom appears to also be interested in collector dolls), so she didn’t feel too terrible about the purchase. 

She didn’t get any of the secret ones, sadly, but she seems to like these enough that now she wants to get the other Penny’s Box Antu and Adou, as well as some of the Simon’s Toys Teenar girls. I don’t think she’ll get into resin BJD (most of my family are action figure/adult-miniature-collector types, and many don’t favor resin). But now she seems adicted to Chinese desginer trading collector toys! Not sure that’s good or not, but I was able to get these girls finally! I am super happy with mine; she sent the boxes sealed, although we all agreed we were okay if she got to choose the ones she wanted to keep (by opening all the boxes). I am happy with mine -- I was only interested in getting only one originally, but then because I felt I needed to help out a bit more (to lighten the expense burden), I paid for two boxes.
