Ok so what if Jason had an itty bitty baby ghost core, and the ghosts just saw through him and were just like "aww look at the little angy baby".
Pair this with little baby man Danny who for some reason is in Gotham.
(be it through vlad shrinking him or forced vacation from ghost King duties by CW, or something else that's just pure Fenton luck or shenanigans)
And it's just a little baby man Danny calling out to any and all other ghosts and Jason senses this and is like

But to the rest of the batfam Jason just like I hinges into a frankly terrifying eldritch monster of a ghost form (due to the pit corruption) and is just cooing at lil baby man Danny
Neither of who truly know what is happening as both's instincts have fully taken over
it leads to Jason stealing baby man to the batcave in a dark corner with tonnes of blankets and pillows Alfred brought down for this reason
(I like the headcannon he's bros with CW and sometime has like old man tea parties bc both are critic grandparents)
Eventually I feel like Danny would wake up and have a mental connection to Jason (or like a core connection I'dk) but Jason's not fully at the wheel either so both are lamenting life
But hey the batfam gain a new brother/son and Jason's pit issues get fixed
