Oh no, the boy is growing up and ceasing to be sexually appealing!
Greek Anthology 12.27: When I saw Polemon off, his cheeks like thine, Apollo, I promised to sacrifice a fowl if he came back. I do not accept him now his spiteful cheeks are bristly. Luckless wretch that I was to make a vow for the sake of such a man ! It is not fair for the innocent fowl to be plucked in vain, or let Polemon be plucked, too, Lord of Delos.
Greek Anthology 12.31: By Themis and the bowl of wine that made me totter, your love, Pamphilus, has but a little time to last. Already your thigh has hair on it and your cheeks are downy, and Desire leads you henceforth to another kind of passion. But now that some little vestiges of the spark are still left thee, put away your parsimony. Opportunity is the friend of Love.
Greek Anthology 12.35: One thus addressed a boy who did not say good-day: "And so Damon, who excels in beauty, does not even say good-day now! A time will come that will take vengeance for this. Then, grown all rough and hairy, you will give good-day first to those who do not give it you back."
Greek Anthology 12.39: Nicander's light is out. All the bloom has left his complexion, and not even the name of charm survives, Nicander whom we once counted among the immortals. But, O young men, let not your thoughts mount higher than beseems a mortal; there are such things as hairs.
Edit: Some more.
Sufjan Stevens has a song called John Wayne Gayce Jr.
Gayce was a pedophilic serial killer who targeted young boys. The song was about Sufjan's own relationship with sexuality, he felt such deep guilt over the sheer act of loving, he mentally compared himself to a monster.
Homosexuality and the society-caused mentality that goes hand in hand with it has always been fascinating to me.
It's common for young gay boys who have lived in a sheltered world where homosexuality is only shown through pedophilia to equate their innocent attraction to preying on other "more innocent" boys.
And I've always wondered what Aslan might've felt the first time he held romantic feelings for another male.
Did he think he was like them too? His only exposure to homosexuality was through victimhood and forced prostitution. He never had healthy sex, much less male on male sex, I imagine that at least for a few years, the concept that two grown men could want eachother like that without harming one in the process was unimaginable for him.
It's why I can never really blame older literature for using the pederastic relationship between Zeus and Ganymede to express the joys of being queer. He is one of Zeus's only male "lovers" and a lover whom he loved enough to immortalise.
There are many poems and works that depict Ganymede as a willing young adult. Especially his poem by Goëthe (who was more so bisexual). A lot of gay writers used Ganymede as a self insert, to express a utopia where they could serve their lover publicly in a world that didn't condemn them for it.
pederastia
if you mention to the wrong person that the ‘homosexuality’ of Ancient Greece was tangled up with their hatred of women, they explode.

i have a friend who loves to first ask men "whats your sports idol?" followed by "if you had to have sex with him, would you be top or bottom?" and it's always fun to see the straight male mind revert back to it's greek pederastic roots bc they almost always answer "bottom, obviously" bc they respect the guy too much to top them. it's about power to them
the one time she asked a bisexual friend of ours this, he answered that he'd top and bottom bc he'd love to give pleasure and be pleasured by leonel messi
If, for [Gayle] Rubin, both intergenerational sex and BDSM are crucial sites of struggle against the persecution of sexual minorities and, for Foucault, both pederasty and BDSM are critical practices through which to think the ethics of power in asymmetrical and “diagonal” social relations, it is instructive that only BDSM has been taken up, within queer theory, for the potentially radical ways in which it negotiates power, gender, and history in and through sex. There is, nonetheless, an inscription of pederasty within BDSM that we might bring into focus in order to disaggregate what we think we know about queer sex radicalism in the present; namely, Daddy/Boy play. If it seems counterintuitive to connect Daddy/Boy play to pederasty, it is because since the 1980s, Daddy/Boy has been embraced as part of a sex radical queer culture and rendered synonymous with the “now.” By contrast, pederasty is more likely to be associated with homosexual self-loathing than with contemporary sex radicalism and is assimilated to the “then” of a vaguely defined pre-Stonewall history and the “there” of an equally vaguely defined Arab-Islamic culture. With their presumably antagonistic politics and alleged locations in distant time periods and geographical spaces, it seems certain that pederasty and Daddy/Boy will never meet. One might protest, however, that there are significant formal differences between pederasty and Daddy/Boy. As elaborated within BDSM cultures, Daddy/Boy is a contractual means of playing with both intergenerational power differentials and the incest taboo to create erotic scenarios with a particularly intense sexual and affective charge. These power differentials, however, need not be based on real world differences in social power. In other words, the “boy” need not be literally younger than the “Daddy,” neither need be male, and the “Daddy” need not have greater social, economic, or racial capital than the “boy.” Pederasty, on the other hand, would appear unseemly in its exuberant attachment to the scene of social power, uncritically adopting its patriarchal homoerotics of hierarchy between men and youths or older and younger men, and even intensifying it with inequalities of race, class, and geopolitical power. As a form that is not associated with kinship, pederasty, moreover, appears to be distant from both the incest taboo’s erotic charge and Daddy/Boy’s self-conscious manipulation of that charge. In short, if BDSM play, including Daddy/Boy, has been understood within queer theory as a distinctively queer method of responsibly, consensually, and self-consciously playing with social power, assuming pleasurable agency over sexual trauma, exploring new female, genderqueer, and transgender masculinities, and challenging “the racial and gendered hierarchies that undergird the disciplinary paternalism of the state,” pederasty would appear, uninterestingly, to do none of the above. What does it mean, then, that a “modernized” and recognizably queer pederasty might take the shape of a contractual Daddy/Boy BDSM relation, in which the Daddy really is old enough to be the Boy’s father and really does provide material support and pedagogical instruction, and the Boy really is dependent, in various psychic, emotional, and material ways, upon the Daddy? If Daddy/Boy play can come so vertiginously close to reality, then the time has come to interrogate the valorizing and modernizing separation between retrograde pederasty and queer radical Daddy/Boy by theorizing both as inegalitarian erotic dependencies that cannot be adequately held within the liberal form of contractual consent.

considering all the ancient deities, there definitely could have been some pederasty going on in pjo
Kronos had been in a box for several thousand years. Most of the other titans were in Tartarus during that time as well. They don't know shit about modern consent laws, and I highly doubt they'd care. Kronos wouldn't have been able to do much for most of the war bcos he was literally just a voice in people's heads but after possessing Luke? and running an army full of teenagers who are terrified to disobey him? You know he was taking full advantage of that, poor Ethan probably spent half his time cockwarming Kronos at his desk. He was less of a soldier and more entertainment. Those titans had him and Alabaster fucking in the middle of the table during meetings.
