Hi! It's Hawkwing and Pebbleshine!
I really loved their rivalry at the start of Hawkwing's Journey and how they have the shared grief over their loved ones and both have the same thoughts and blamed themselves for their deaths.
Really wished we got to see more of them in the books, but Erin needed a cat to sacrifice themselves for the prophecy, so who better but Pebbleshine out of SO MANY other cats they could have chose.
In my opinion, they could have let Pebbleshine at least live and then Needletail and Alderheart could find her, Twigkit and Violetkit and bring then back to the Clans and reunite with Hawkwing.
I don't understand why they needed to kill her off by introducing the badger (was she killed by a badger or a monster I forgot), could have just let her live. I know it was most probably so that it would give Twigbranch and Violetshine the "poor abandoned" kits vibe when they were first found, but honestly really would have loved to see it if Pebbleshine lived.
