Not mine! A friend of mine, the guy who took Bumblebee/Felix home last year, is needing a place to rehome his peafowl due to a major life circumstance change incoming. He has one mature pair of blues (Ferdinand and Isabelle), and then Felix and likely one of his two yearling girlfriends (Liberty or Bell). He's located in Wisconsin, but we would both be willing to work on transport to pretty much anywhere in the USA to get them placed.

This isn't necessarily an urgent, immediate need, so if you were to, say, need time to build an enclosure, we can work it out. The birds themselves are free to a good home, with the only stipulations being Ferdinand and Isabella must go and stay together. I will be making sure they end up placed somewhere that's set up for them already, preferably where the pairs can stay together.

Since putting up the shade cloth, they have been using the flight pen more! They still prefer being in the barn to being outside when it's hot though.

When people tell me they have "green" peafowl and paid anything less than $2k for them, I simply don't believe them. I've never seen a pure green from a reliable source listed for less than $2k. These ones are from a trusted source that got them from the only guy I would trust to have pure greens in the USA.

Green peafowl are endangered in the wild, and may not be imported from their native land legally. These ones would have been imported from Europe (or rather, direct descendants from European lines), as breeders there take better care to track their bloodlines than people in the USA do.

They're also extremely cold-intolerant, unable to withstand winter temps in most of the USA without a heated, indoor enclosure, which is why they aren't commonly kept outside of the south and California.
