Thee being careful to include Plub every time he offers to take care of Peach is just another example of a pattern I’ve noticed over and over in this show:
Thee is incredibly careful with Peach
He makes sure to listen every time Peach points something out, when he asks for Thee to stop doing something or do something differently
Plub is the most important piece of Peach’s world and the visit to the orphanage showed Thee why that’s the case, that Peach would never say yes if Plub wasn’t included
For all his dramatics, Thee is genuinely doing everything he can to care for Peach in the best way possible, by learning what’s important to him
And Peach, now secure in the fact that Thee is genuinely invested in him as a person and not just being Thee™️, is starting to try too, even if he doesn’t always understand how
He takes care to explain where exactly Thee went wrong in an interaction without judging him too much for not understanding and how to do it differently next time
He knows Thee can get jealous, so he made sure to tell him that the person he would be working with was his ex, expertly dodging the miscommunication trope I was expecting
