We loved the Peach Farm @hipcamp in New South Wales so much we went twice! The kids were entertained by the animals and on the trampoline for hours. Not far from Yamba, and just over a 3 hour drive from Brisbane.

I usually read intricate recipes like I read a science fiction book! I get to the very end and I think, “Well that’s not going to happen.” But this time it actually did happen!!! I love proving myself wrong, ha! I have always thought adding more than 3-4 tablespoons of alcohol to the ice cream base would not allow it to freeze to the right consistency! Well let’s just say I threw caution to the wind and filled that measuring cup up with some mighty fine @eaglerarebourbon ! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Today marks Round 4 with the Bushel of yummy @mcleodfarms Peaches! It was a sweet kind of day so what’s better than homemade peach ice cream!!! I’m all about flavor and layering flavor! You know the kind of flavor that literally blows your mind as you discover each layer while your eating! Bourbon Brown Butter Peach Ice Cream was the ultimate peach experiment today! A huge shout out to @gardenandgun for this epic recipe! Making the delectable custard base was first on the list for this recipe! After mastering the creamy thick custard I made the brown butter bourbon pecan layer to swirl in!!! As the ice cream became thick I added the crushed up fresh peaches and the candied pecans to create the ultimate last layer in this amazing ice cream!
