Mmmm this is a very interesting question.

I think some still human part of Doffy wants to understand Rosi. It’s why he gave Law a second chance (like why else would he keep Law alive so long if not to maybe see if he can convince him to join him). Doffy wants to be loved and understood, like all people do. He’s just insane about it, was groomed into embracing his worst qualities. Him being told he was special by other celestial dragons, then being called king by Trebbol.

I think Doffy might trap him, ask him why’d he choose Law, why’d he oppose him, why leave just to return and hurt him. Doffy doesn’t understand what would make a person on his level, his brother, his blood, someone who’s seen the same highs and lows as him, A GOD, would choose lowly humans. Especially one sick and weak (additionally, why would Law choose Rosi over him? When Doffy has extended every kindness, treated every ache and pain; What could Rosi possibly give him that Doffy can’t?)

I think this rant would allow Rosinante to wriggle his way out of trouble. And Doffy would allow it to happen. I think he would enjoy the game of cat and mouse. I think he would find his brothers struggle amusing and so long as Doffy could imagine a way to win he’d allow it to happen. (Some part of Doffy doesn’t want to kill his brother again he’s already had to do it once. In this au, I’m not sure he’d be able to do it a second time.)

Garak introduction scene is as gay as I've heard it was. like i know its reputation in the fandom but there is no reason for him to be touching Bashir like that 😭 seriously though, i love him so much... i forgot his actor's name but god he plays him so well. wonderful

regarding the actors: there is not one character i've seen so far that i think is badly acted. everybody's doing wonderfully. nana visitor is a personal favorite but i think that's also because i love kira

jake and nog are so frickin cute i'm squishing them both. they remind me so much of some of the kids i went to school with (i mean this in a good and bad way. looking at that scene with them and those damn bugs. these kids are bad as hell!!!)

but they're also bored as hell which brings me to my next point KEIKOOOOOO ily keiko. keiko o'brien ilysm. i have never seen tng but i love her. her and molly.... i love them like my own wife and kid

quark is funny as hell in "babel" i love him. his smug lil send off/wave to odo... he's goofy as hell. not looking forward to the misogyny
