VW T5 recovery vehicle rear door. Commercial vehicles are usually made from slightly heavier steel than most cars and then strengthened around the high stress areas to cope with a busy life. This lower door corner is heavy,strong and difficult to access from the back. Not too long ago this would have been sent to the bodyshop for paint. Then came glue. The advances made with lifting/pulling equipment have been great but they don't compare to what happened at the warm end. Glue guns, tabs and the glue itself have evolved pdr and what it can achieve.
