I seen some other autistic individuals mention that we shouldn't talk over one another, and I absolutely agree. For example, someone who isn't nonverbal shouldn't talk over to those who are, and someone who is more independent shouldn't talk over those who require more support.
Just because we're autistic that doesn't give us the right to talk over one another. We should respect each other's strengths and struggles without shaming one another for being fustrated. Unless you know for sure that it's okay to talk for someone, it's better to help everyone on the spectrum to voice, or let their opinions and experiences be seen, even if it's something you don't agree with.
Absolutely stand up for autistic rights and let your voice/experiences be heard/seen, but also respect everyone's stance when to comes to being an austistic individual.
Everyone should be allowed to vent the struggles of living with a developmental disorder without dear of ridicule. Non-autistic people should absolutely NOT use this as an excuse or push for a cure.
