Wallpaper desktop para janeiro de 2024
Hello November ππ, the REAL ME HERE...
My life is slightly better now after exercising my new routine π§ π,Β but I have some 'Good News': My custom PC desktop running 'Windows 10' OS has been running for 5 years, since Nov. 6, 2020. ππ₯οΈποΈ You remember that? In case you want to refresh your mind, then please click these β [CLICK ME! #1], [CLICK ME! #2]. π
Ah yeah, did I forget about that news? Yeah, so sorry. π I'll explain it very soon. Heck, I'll also throw out some of my snapshots during my 'Built a PC' progress. So again, very soon. π§π₯οΈπ
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please, ignore the vertical lines on my current monitor. I will replaced with the new one, someday. π
β’ So, you may be asking, "Why are you still running 'Windows 10' when the life support ended?" π€ You see, I was gonna moved to the Windows 11 OS with all of my precious files, but then I watched and sometimes going deep the rabbit hole about the potential risk of the update patch for the aforementioned Windows 11, saying that our current main NVMe M.2 boot drive will damage after the system update patch depending what brand are you using it. π§ I've seen every single NVMe brand with each of their scarves from their testing center, and while my Samsung 970 EVO Plus withstands the controversial update patch for 11, I'd rather not move and stay at the previous Windows OS (a.k.a. 'Windows 10'), until the much safer patch is released next year. "But hey!" You asked me, "If you're gonna stay on Windows 10, then your files will be at risk should you stay on that OS". π€ Well, yes... You're absolutely correct, and thankfully, Microsoft gave us an 'Extended Security Updates program' for 1 year by using my existing Microsoft data account. Heck, I could enroll my Windows 10 in the Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) for an additional 10+ years, until 2032. So, I don't have to worry about moving to Windows 11 until my mind decides. Now, I didn't say that 'Windows 11' was bad on my custom PC; it just needs a better future patch than the current one. So again, I'll be patiently waiting for another 'Windows 11' related news before I make my move without a single floss on my physical custom PC desktop. π€π₯οΈπ°
β’ And speaking of my desktop... Here's what my new PC desktop looks like! ππ₯οΈπ My old one has turned into a storage unit owing to showing its age, and thankfully, I have some spare funds for buying a new PC desktop case. Its not pretty nor special about my new case, but it fits well. My paper dolls are loving it! And by the way, I'll save the reveal of my custom PC desktop's interior when I make my long journal for my future 'PC Upgrade' part 3. π(Pls, ignore the front stains, by the way.)
Well, that's all for now! And happy 5th year anniversary, my PC desktop! ππ₯³ππ₯οΈ

Updated my desktop for December! (yes I know it's still November. Shhh. I'm getting ahead of schedule)
I tried to make it both holiday & Life Series themed, which is a hilarious premise that I think turned out pretty well.
Backgrounds are made within Canva, using watercolor art and abstract color backgrounds. Last year I had a very strict design style, which is why my choices this year are a lot more loose. Next year's backgrounds I expect I'll switch back to a slightly stricter format, as it's easier to quickly update month to month.
The desktop clock and picture frame display (which switches between a bunch of poetry & art I have saved) are the Widgets app from the Microsoft store.
The pretty post-it notes are the Simple Sticky Notes app! My fave part of them is the ability to set opacity, as I like things a little see-through.
The circle clock is added using the Atome skin within Rainmeter, which allows for the addition of many custom desktop reskins/widgets.
My favorite part of my customization is the tiny sun in the middle of the clock- if I scroll up or down on it, it raises and lowers my screen brightness! That's the Backlight skin, also in Rainmeter.

I built my first PC!
Here's a video where I'm assembling the motherboard and installing it in the case- plugging each component was too complicated to record though sooo I didn't include the cable management part whoopsies
I actually built it in December before my exam session so I could properly focus on studying. I have done so much research to choose the right components for the right prices. I even bought some parts second hand because it's just outright stupid to buy things that are brand new when you can get the same things for cheaper that have been barely used...

Man, so close. π we wouldβve hope after seeing him putting new upgrades to his PC desktop. And yet somehow doesnβt seem looks completed as of now. Nevertheless, weβll see if itβll live again for the final part next week. Pray that never goes wrong afterwards though.
Pals... Help me! He moved!
