TO INFINITY AND BEYOND 🚀 💫 ⠀ .⠀ I found this little gem in @therangeuk the other week and thought it would be perfect to help Tyler get ready school in a few weeks!⠀ .⠀ I think it’s really great that it has characters Tyler recognises as well, it makes him much keener to sit down and practice his letters and numbers. ⠀ .⠀ I think the biggest motivation is the gold stars he gets to stick on his reward chart in the back of the book. He gets 1 star for every page he completes. ⭐️ ⠀ .⠀ There is also a whole section to practice what he has already learnt. BEING AN ADULT IS A BIT LIKE FOLDING A FITTED SHEET. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS HOW. This week has not been eventful. In fact it’s been the same as most of the other lockdown weeks. Except for 2 instances that made me realise I am an adult and more importantly, a mother. 1. Nick cut his hand open when carving a walking stick. Honestly, it probably should of had stitches, but I helped clean it up and bandage it. 2. My 4 year old asked me how me and his dad made him before he was in my belly 😳.....to which i just replied “magic”... There is no book on how to be an adult, and we are all winging it. We all do it in our different ways and manage to step up when we need to. Even if we thought we could never do it.
