i love drawing guys that don't actually have faces (LYING)
the most insane part of playing the original Modern Warfare trilogy after only knowing the reboots and like one game from my childhood is by far the existence of Sgt. Paul Jackson. Genuinely when I first saw his name me and my roommate joked "who the hell is this guy? probably not important, nobody's ever talks about him. Probably dies immediately." And we were right, sure, but days have passed and I think about him all the time. I sobbed like a child when he died, when the game punished me for trying to save someone else's life and then gave me just enough time to crawl out of the rubble of a crash and look around at the fallout. The controller vibrated in time with a dying heart, and all I could do was look around at the red sky until I was forced to drop, and then I just get transferred to Soap's PoV ?? Like it wasn't anything. Like that never happened and he was never there. I know that's the point, but oh my god it makes me nauseous. Sgt. Paul Jackson I'm sorry. Sgt. Paul Jackson I miss you. I didn't expect the original game to fuck with my head so hard but oh my god I literally miss him so bad. And there's nobody to talk to about him because it's like he never existed in the first place. Replaceable and disposable in every universe, apparently. I'm going to be sick. I need to lay down. Sgt. Paul Jackson I miss you.
