Being outed is one of the worst things that could happen to lgbtq+ people, especially If you are still figuring things out like Dillon is. He said that he was gay to his dad just because he was exposed about it, and he said that he thought that he was gay to Elliot because him and Ruby were calling him out for being homophobic. But when it came to telling Jaime about it, he backed off, showing that he still needs more time to do it on his own, which is completely okay, you have to come out on your terms and when you are ready, and I'm glad that they are showing in a kids show the consequences of outing a person who isn't ready to come out.

So it's obvious that Dillon wasn't ready to tell anyone about it, maybe not even himself. But the fact that he was brave enough to stand up for who he is, even tho he is still confused about himself, is really remarkable. Dillon Simmonds I'm so proud of you.
