The Brain’s Tears of Remorse.
Here’s another fan comic I want in season 2 or 3 of Animaniacs. That’s when after the Brain tried and failed to wake up the apparently dead Pinky and realized he was a jerk to everyone, including Pinky and Julia. He finally sobs his eyes out really hard than he ever had before. Crying a big puddle of tears. Letting out years of repressed emotions and trauma before he wakes Pinky up.
The Brain looked at Julia sobbing hysterically. He knew he made Julia kill Pinky accidentally when she tried to kill him and he and she won’t ever recover from it all even if they reformed. He knew there was no escape from it all. He gasp sobbed so hard that it was too difficult to breathe for him. He coughed from it. His chest was hurting too. He pushed his shoulders up and down intensely. Tears continued running down his injured face. His nose ran too.
The Brain looked down at the lifeless Pinky again.
He took away his funny friends life without meaning to. Not just Julia.
The Brain felt helpless and alone yet again. The same feeling he felt as a child before he met Pinky and when Snowball betrayed him. But this feeling of helplessness was a lot worse than his threatening situations from Snowball,Julia and angry crowds. It was worse than the electric shocks from the cheese platter. And it was worse than always failing his plans for world domination.
The Brain remembered when Pinky asked him about his worst fear when they were trapped inside a automatic vehicle. He didn’t answer him back then because he was trying to be tough and not show sentimentality to Pinky. Losing Pinky was his worst fear. The Brain tearfully knew he should’ve realized it from the start. He also realized that Pinky was his world. He didn’t care about being a strong ruler and ruling everyone out of spite anymore. But he was too late to save Pinky. That was the worst feeling of all.
Julia was right.... Similar to King Midas with his golden touch, everything the Brain touches turns to failure, failure, failure!......
Tears fell on the Brain’s round tummy, knowing the harsh reality of it all. The Brain gasp sobbed even harder and intensely. His lips shook. His tears began to run more profusely like a fountain. Then after building up gasp sobs, the Brain finally bawled his eyes out hysterically.
He felt terrible for abusing and yelling at Pinky and then kicked him out earlier.
“I’m such a horrible friend!” thought the Brain, still sobbing hysterically. “I’m a horrible mouse! I don’t deserve world domination! Not after what I’ve done!....”
The Brain: “PIIIIIINNNNNKKKYYYY!........ The mean stuff I said to you earlier about using me and hating me.... I didn’t mean any of it!.... You were the greatest roommate in the whole wide world!..... You were more than my best friend!...... Pinky...... Pinky...... (sobs).”
The Brain’s loud sobs echoed in the snowy forest.
The Brain tears formed a pig puddle as he continued sobbing. He had never cried that intensely before in his life. Very intense in fact that the Brain almost couldn’t stand it. A dictator was not supposed to blubber noisily like this, but he couldn’t help it. It felt good to cry like this after so many years of being repressed.
