You guys! Look at this freaking brilliant idea that the Malala Fund is doing! (Ok apparently schoola is a thing I didn’t know about before so maybe I should say: you guys! Look at this freaking brilliant idea Schoola has and they’re partnering with Malala Fund to make the world even more awesome! :D)

You request a bag, fill it with gently used womens and girls clothing, and put the bag in the mailbox (the bag is prepaid postage so you don’t even have to pay that). Then it goes to Schoola, they sell the clothing online, and 40% of the proceeds (minus shipping/posting/etc) goes to funding girls’ education through the Malala Fund (there are other organizations you can fund if you use their bags instead I think). Plus, apparently they give you some sort of update or feedback later on for what happened with your clothes/how you were able to help.

I requested my bag already--I can’t wait for it to arrive! I just cleaned out my closet too so this is perfect timing. I only wish I’d seen this before I donated a bunch of clothing this weekend, but at least I did set aside some clothes to see if I want to keep or donate. I will absolutely donate them to Malala instead of where I normally bring it. I kind of want to always have these bags on hand so I can help in small ways throughout the year too instead of only in big ways.
