He trusts his mom implicitly. However, though some people think sheās a type of mother figure to him, Rook wonāt ever take Adelaideās advice. Mostly because her advice usually consists of fucking his problems away.
Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants, booksā¦)?Ā Rook doesnāt empathize with things like plants and books, but he does have a very well loved teddy bear that he talks to occasionally and he is always respectful to robots, be it intelligent AIās like his google assistant or programmable things like his Roomba. I really feel you on the dwelling on past choices and feeling like they might have been a series of mistakes. You're right that you can't change any of it, but now it's all behind you and you have all the chances to make whatever you want out of your present and future. The fact that you're alive and have these memories means that you have something to look back on and compare to once you've gotten where you need or want to go.
