kaden mackay's music has always meant so much to me, especially this song when it first came out. I've been into thomas' stuff ever since I heard about sanders sides, which was around the time sasi actually took flight (as well as being into kaden's music since he first started)

both kaden's music and thomas' content are things that I've always consumed so easily as I've felt as though they've always been part of me, because in a way, they have. they've been part of my life for what feels like such a long time and it's something I'll always be grateful for; kaden's music is something I can listen to to feel safe, much like sanders sides is something I can watch to feel safe. both thomas' and kaden's content/media has done so much to support me for so long

and this song specifically being about the passage of time being the one thomas covers is kind of jarring! listening to this made me realize how much time has passed since I first got into either of their stuff. they're both creators whos stuff I can immediately go to to feel safe and welcomed, even if it's just music or a series online

sns for rambling but it was just a lot to hear this for some reason. a song I've always associated with myself, with feeling safe, with sanders sides, being covered by thomas sanders?? it feels like a lot and maybe it's just the kid in me who used to listen to this song on repeat to feel okay, who used to watch sanders sides to feel okay.

tldr, kaden's music and thomas' content mean so much to me and have for so long, that hearing a song about time that involves both of these creators was a little eye opening. it just makes me excited for future things either of these people create, and I'm very glad to have been a viewer/supporter to both of them, and to hopefully continue to be!!
