It's the Climb: Parrot's Peak
6/18/13
Long time no blog. :)
It took me a while to get back into this because I felt my life has fallen short of adventure. But these photos will show otherwise.
Last month my friends and I decided to go on a hiking trip in Pico de Loro. At first I thought we were going to the beach. But i realized we were headed for the mountains.
I really didn't know what to expect from the trip, except I knew it was gonna be fun and memorable because it was my first mountain hike.
And the adventure begins...
With approximately 3 hours of sleep, my friends and I managed to finish the climb in about 8 hours. We arrived around 8:30 AM and left almost 4:00 PM.
cause we are the most arte climbers. Ral and I with our fanny packs.
This is us the RMC aka Raleene.com Mountaineering Club!
That's her - Raleene.com. Haha. (Thanks for all the pretty photos Ral.)
Look how beautiful the view is. The long and tiring climb was so worth it because of this.
Look how intense the trail was. At some point we literally had to hold on grass to get up and to safely go down since some parts were really steep.
Tah duh! the RMC at the Parrot's Peak. Thank God there were pro climbers who helped us get in to that peak. The challenge felt like a life and death scenario. We had to pull ourselves up with the help of a rope and we had to have our asses supported while going down just to ensure our safety.
♥ lots & pixie dusts,
STEPH
