Beautiful birds, native to Australia’s semi-arid and arid inland. They are very social and can be seen in the company of other cockatoo species such as galahs and little corellas.

the caica parrot is a shy, hard to find south american parrot species. juveniles are primarily green; adults have a solid black-brown head, with a golden-orange collar and black and blue highlights on the wings and tails. they are rarely observed in the wild, so their habits are not well known; it is believed they forage in small groups for a diet of primarily fruit and seeds.
