ぼくとPARK GALLERYで企画するイベントが昨日から 開催中です。アーティストのオリジナルグッズがずらりと 揃い、見てもたのしい販売スペースになっております。 今はネットショップも簡単に管理できるのですが、実際に 手に取って見てもらう機会がぼく自身ほしいと思ったのが きっかけで、この展示販売イベントを企画しました。 ミュージアムショップの多くのグッズとは違い、作家自身で 考えて作ったグッズには、作品とは別の面白さを感じてもらえると 思っております。

2018年6月1日（金）より、PARK GALLERY と イラストレーター なかおみちお によるアーティストグッズの展示販売イベント『PARK MART』を開催します。

『作品』ではなく『グッズ』を展示することで『アート』という垣根をなくし『表現』×『クリエイト』 という感覚をシンプルに楽しんでいただけたらと思います。見る楽しさ、使う楽しさ。作る楽しさ。コレクションする楽しさ。

『売る』こと以外の目的が見えてくる個性的なグッズが揃うことまちがいなしです。これを機に、雑貨屋感覚でパークギャラリーという『場』に気軽に遊びにきてもらえたらと思います。

PARK GALLERY とイラストレーターのなかおみちおでアーティストグッズの展示販売イベントを企画することになりました。

イベント名はシンプルに “PARK MART” と名付けました。パークの普段の展示と違うところは、『作品』ではなく『アーティストグッズ』を展示して販売する事を目的としたところです。

グッズ展であれば、もっと気軽にギャラリーに入っていただき、好きなアーティストを探せる場にもできると思いました。

なおかつ普段の生活でグッズを使用することで、その作家の作品への興味も湧いてもらえる一助になれば嬉しいです。

今回取り扱うアーティストグッズは、すべてアーティストやお店が自ら企画して作っている物たちです。

そこが、よくあるミュージアムショップのグッズの多くとはちょっと違うところです。ゴッホがクリアフォルダを、ウォーホルがキャンベルスープ缶のマグカップを作ろうと言って作る訳ではありません。作家自身が企画し、作るものには作家性、その人の背景を感じられることでしょう。

さらに、自分や自分のお店に興味を持ってもらえるように、または自分の意見を伝えるためにグッズというものに落とし込まれた商品には作品とは別の魅力があります。

“I'm wearing a cat ear balaclava I crocheted myself and a Pepsi jacket I found in the trash. I'm also wearing my second-hand docs (I call them my beat-up docs after the moderate rock song), my mom's socks and the shirt is from the xr youth free market. My bag is from the army surplus store in Soho and the pins are either gifts or from eBay. my style right now is inspired by the music my friends make.”

“What inspires my current style: any soft neutral textures/colors and my childhood memories. I’m wearing pieces that I made for my brand Cloudiejobi, all handmade and up-cycled. The shoes are from the UK.”

“I’m wearing a French Connection zip-up, Camila Frater long sleeve, hand-me-down skirt, fur scarf, sambas, and Nebluela bag. My current/forever inspirations are my mom, my friends, subway crushes…most of my clothes are memory oriented so whatever/wherever/whoever I want to be reminded of that day.”

“My style is currently inspired by what I loved when I was 12 – Japanese fashions from the animes I watched at that age. I loved the colors and uniqueness of each piece, and it’s so cool I can wear what I wanted to at that time.”

“I’m wearing a Collina Strada hoodie, the shorts are by JRat, boots from Walmart, a shirt from Goodwill and the purse is by @madeofglue. The past two years have been huge for me in discovering my personal style and it’s made me feel so happy to express myself. I recently paired down my wardrobe to a capsule size. It all fits in 2 drawers and a small clothing rack. I ended up only keeping the loud and sparkly things. Currently my biggest inspirations are my friend Angel and everything Chopova Lewena makes!’
