A balatonlellei, árnyas park közepén álló és sajàt szabadstrandos parttal bíró Park Hotel egykor a Belügyminisztérium üdülőjeként működött. Az MNV 2012-ben hirdetett pályázatot az épület bérletére, a mai napig is lehet ide jönni nyaranta és a hetvenes-nyolcvanas években berendezett szobákban megszállni (ezt a honlapon láttam), de bungallók is vannak, lehet hogy azok újabbak. Bevallom minket az utcáról az egyik épület sarkát díszítő, galambokat ábrázoló kompozíció csalogatott be az udvarig, ez Kiss István műve (forrás: Köztérkép). A többszintes főépület előtti kertet a malomkövet hajító Toldi Miklóst ábrázoló szobra díszíti, N. Kovács Mária alkotása 1937-ből. A művésznő többek közt ezzel nyerte el 1941-ben a Ferenc József szobrászati díjat. A bronzszobor akkor még a Toldi Miklós Honvéd Sporttanár és Vívómesterképző Intézet tulajdona volt. Nem tudni mikor került pontosan Lellére, de korábban az üdülőhöz tartozó kikötőben állt (lásd a Fortepan kép a Magyar Rendőrtől), míg most a Park Hotel udvarát díszíti, előtte jobb napokat látott üres medence. Hoy, como cada dos semanas les recomiendo musiquita nueva, esta vez para que la pongan mientras salen a correr y saquen todo el alcohol que van a ingerir el fin de semana; en dado caso que no salgan a correr pónganla cuando se les haga tarde y se les esté yendo la combi.
1. Si te gusta LCD Soundsystem, te va a encantar Park Hotel.
Tim Abbey y Rebeca Marcos-Rosa son los fundadores de esta banda originaria de Londres, Inglaterra. En cada una de sus presentaciones cuentan con la ayuda de diferentes músicos, los cuales ayudan a que el conjunto de guitarra, bajo, batería, percusiones, teclados y sintetizadores suene a la perfección.
El 2016 fue el año que los vio nacer, para que en el 2017 presentaran sus dos primeros sencillos; “Gone As A Friend” y “Going West”, en ellos podemos apreciar un estilo que mezcla diferentes géneros; como lo son el disco, funk, rock y electrónica.
Con presentaciones en varios festivales de Europa y con el lanzamiento de su nuevo sencillo “Good People Bad Dreams” en Febrero pasado, esperan sacar su primer material a finales de año.
2. Si te gusta Bloc Party o Cosmo Pyke, te va a encantar Bakar.
Originario del norte de Inglaterra, llega Bakar. Con un estilo multifacético, el cual podemos apreciar en cada uno de sus temas, teniendo canciones que son totalmente rock; con riffs y percusiones fuertes, otras indie ; con una voz demasiado parecida a la de Cosmo Pyke y finalmente hip hop; con beats melancólicos acompañados de un lírica armoniosa
Sin tener más que un año produciendo y escribiendo, ha logrado lanzar diferentes demos y sencillos desde el año pasado, Bakar no ha dejado de hacer música, dando como resultado que a mediados del presente año, por fin presente, su primer mixtape llamado “BADKID”.
