#paris: admin

Hi all, Thank you all for your patience, members and newcomers and potential applicants alike. We are still overwhelmed by the love and enthusiasm we've been receiving, and given we have reached full capacity we have had to discuss the potential of opening more slots. Our main aim with Paris is to create a tight-knit community where everyone feels comfortable and included, where we can ensure that people are getting the plots and attention they deserve. We've discussed plans about a buddy system, which we will detail in our next announcement, just to ensure new members feel included, and have someone to lean upon during their first few weeks in the group. We hope you can understand the decisions we've made, and of course, these decisions can and will be adjusted over time. For right now, this is what we feel will work best for our group at this present time: 

SPACES: As far as slots go, given that we do want to keep that sense of community, we have decided to open 5 more slots. We know this may not be as many as some were expecting, but we have placed focus on our mission to keep our community as inclusive and as comfortable as possible. Again, as time goes on, if we feel we need more, those decisions can be made, but a capacity of 50 characters (member characters, as admin characters are not included in the spaces) feels like a well rounded number. It will be a first come, first serve approach - based on activity. If we do not respond right away, please give us some time to check out your activity (for members), etc. 

MEMBER LIMIT: At present, members and admins will be limited to TWO characters to ensure everyone has a fair chance of joining the rp. We know our usual limit is 3 characters, but please know this limit is only TEMPORARY. It takes a good month with solid activity on two characters before one can apply for a third, so hopefully we will have a better idea about numbers and limits by the time some of you would reach that! 

Wow!! We are truly blown away by the response Paris has received so far! Today we finally received our 20th application!!! Thank you all so much for your interest in our group and for sharing your creativity with us through your muses! 

With that being said, we are excited to announce that acceptances will start tomorrow, January 13th, at 1pm EST! We will begin to slowly post character’s biographies starting tomorrow, but in order to not flood the dash too much, will do so over a few day’s time. Please be patient if your character’s bio isn’t posted right away. 

Also, please note that we will have a 10pm EST cut off time today on applications looking to be accepted tomorrow. If you don’t get your app in by that time, don’t worry! Our next acceptance is on Friday!
