Ask
What happens when Anakin and Ahsoka meet their future kid when he goes back in time?
Anakin: “So… you’re telling me you’re my son?”
The young Togruta folded his arms. “Technically, yes.”
Ahsoka blinked twice.
“…Mine too?”
“Yep.”
Silence.
Anakin slowly looked at Ahsoka.
Ahsoka slowly looked back.
“…Skyguy.”
“…Snips.”
Their future son pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Please don’t make this weird.”
Anakin ignored him entirely, grinning like he’d just won the galaxy’s greatest prize.
“I have a son!”
Ahsoka, meanwhile, walked a slow circle around the young man, inspecting his blue eyes, montrals, and stance.
“…You definitely inherited his dramatic posture.”
“And your habit of judging me,” Kaelis sighed.
Anakin suddenly wrapped an arm around his son’s shoulders.
“So, how good a pilot are you?”
“The instructors stopped letting me borrow starfighters.”
“Proud of you already.”
Ahsoka smirked.
“How many did you crash?”
Kaelis looked away.
“…Borrowing privileges were revoked after the seventh incident.”
Anakin burst into laughter.
“That’s my boy!”
“And my headache,” Ahsoka muttered, though the small smile on her face betrayed her.
Kaelis smiled softly.
“Seeing you two like this…”
He stopped himself before saying too much.
“…Just… stay together, okay?”
Neither Jedi understood why his voice suddenly sounded so emotional.
They simply exchanged a puzzled glance before smiling back at him.
