thinking abt trans girl PAREO.... her hair is literally colored lhke the trabs flag its basifally canon. But realy,i think it Can add a lot to her character and how she met CHIYU/CHUΒ² and how she (chu) helped 'Reona' actually let loose and be Herself.
I've been thinking about the part in story 1 where she says the following; "PAREO is cute, unlike me." this can be alluded to Some form of gender dysphoria and hits harder if you take her being trans in consideration.
And this can make her backstory even more Impactful in a way. she grew up Excelling at everytjing ever. She needs to be this perfect honor student that is..well that's what ive said before. Perfect. as Reona she's extremely self conscious of herself and needs to be perfect and everything, needing to meet her parents' expectations ever since she was little. She also loved cute things for a while, AND here's where the trans genering comrs in, she doesn't want anyone to know about that cutesy side of hers because of her gender. it plays into the self consciousness. no one can know about the cute girl PAREO that she always wanted to be. And her meeting CHUΒ² gets even MORE impactful. chiyu (CHUΒ²) doesn't want someone who holds back. she wants someone who can be themselves. and that to me is pretty much Just a trans allegory. She can finally be cute. she can finally show the side of her she never got to show as 'Reona'. this can also be yuri because she just descrives CHUΒ² as like saving her from darkness or something. and it can play Even More Into The Transgenderism....
pasupare also being something that salvaged her hitss aurrrrr hard... (I watched angelic kitty miracle chan and I'm drawing soooo many parallels from it to PAREO.... ugghhhhhfghhghghrrhhfhrhgghh) ... it's something that Inspired her. she started doing the music because well,, she was moved by other people's keyboard performances and pasupare itself being something cute and something she really really loves ....
and on a random unrelated ish note...I think she'd LOVE those "skirt go spinny ^_^" reddit memes (shes like 14 ok.)
