Opiliones. This order is commonly known as harvestmen or daddy longlegs. Unlike spiders, they have no silk glands and cannot make webs, but they are able to swallow solid food unlike most other arachnids.

my new favorite arachnid is amblypygi. that fucker is literally ME. i am kin assigning myself because i have never felt more seen in my life. i was a tailless whipscorpion in a past life or sm. i, too, am a frail little guy who is a scaredy cat is pretty much harmless, and am very sociable/friendly if cared for correctly.
