Phew... here is my first Parappa OC! 😅✨

His name is Sokabu (双蕪)! And uhh... he is just Parappa's childhood friend and classmate from public school during the Parappa the Rapper anime timeline. What else? Don't ask me too much yet because I haven't really made any lore for him. (Just like some other characters in the franchise LOL. 🤣🤣)

So, how did I come up with his name? I used Google Translate. 😭 Forgive me, I don't speak or learn Japanese, so I just tried my best! The "So" (双) means two or twin, while "Kabu" (蕪) means turnip because... well, he's a turnip! If that wasn't obvious. 😂

And yes, this drawing shows him when he was younger, around Parappa's age during the anime timeline.

Huge thanks to @eiheih-makes-manyocs! They really inspired me to create an OC, and the brush I used also belongs to them, so please check them out! Also, thank you to @n1nj0 for suggesting this artist to me! (If you are wondering about my previous post asking for artists who can make reference sheets or replicate a certain art style, I ended up deleting it because I was getting a lot of bot messages offering commissions. What I meant was free requests, not commissions. Sorry for the confusion!) This is my first time trying to replicate Rodney's art style while using a different brush. I have been using the same brush since back then, so trying something new was pretty fun! 😁👍
